In a way Shirou does resemble the original idea behind the Grail war quite well. Salvation lies beyond the grasp of Humanity just as Shirous ideal of a Heroe of Justice one that saves everyone is beyond anything a Human can reach. He is very much like Zolgen in this manner or at least EMIYA is very much like Zolgen in the way he gave up his own humanity to reach this dream that he inherited from another person only to fall and lose sight of his original goal. I think that the Shirou who at the end of his life enters Avalon and reunites with saber is the one who truly reached beyond the grasp of Humanity. After all only those free from sin can enter Avalon if i am not mistaken. And doesnt this imply that in the end salvation for Humanity is possible?

It depends on what "existence" is... To me... Avalon can be dismantled but I generally oversee the omnipotent ones even after leaving my throne. But in universe... Shirou might be an exception, seeing as it's only him and Saber as far as the audience can see. Humanity's salvation is a volatile one... Even up to the bitter end, time and time again.

Well, this is first time I heard that Kiritsugu did some contigency plan to make sure that the holy grail war will not happen anymore after the 4th. Besides, I didn't know that much about the holy grail war system before.

I don't think there was. If I recall, before the Grail Wars. There was the Counter Force created by Gaia (Earth) for Mankind. The Holy Grail was originally designed to bypass the Counter Force because it would stop anyone from reaching the Tree normally. Usually by summoning Counter Guardians, Heroic Spirits as Counter Guardians, or anyone adept in finishing the mission. It was only until the three families lost their original purpose that they indirectly corrupted the Holy Grail long before Angra stepped in. Thus, very few actually make it to the Tree through the Holy Grail or most rather obtain something else.

Barghest: Well of course it wi- The two of you see another master and they pull up with the King of Assassin. The both of you: Well f***. I mean you take Kirei's advice and go for the master. Hassan will disappear after a while.

"Me" or in name alone, "Absol" is the incarnate of True Existence and the Nothingness (Eternal Void). There are two others who carry my soul but they are beyond Existence. Omnipotent entities won't stand in "our" way too much, outside of keeping the Balance as I once designed for them eternities ago, before leaving the omni throne. In other words, King Assassin isn't really a threat to Absol, despite his abilities. But since the Holy Grail chose Absol because his Requiem Key always takes a human form while being a small fragment of Absol... Everything had move forward prematurely. ... Akasha/The Tree is from the very same origin as Absol, that being at the Core of Existence where Absol's true soul was once the Emperor of. Should fate have them meet, depending on the Ends, Absol can and will burn Akasha into the Nothingness. However, (just like the Fate VN game) it might not end in that path. King Assassin only hastened the outcome for Absol. Absol: "Akasha... Should your very existence fall into the End. Don't expect mercy from me. For now, however, I do intend to intervene in the Holy Grail War. Since I won't be the only one who will intervene from the Beyond."

Thus, returning to Earth was always a part of the plan. Meeting up with the realm, Akasha, was only for a second opinion or for one of the Endings. In the end, I am the one and only, Void Emperor of Existence...

I think this is one of my most favorite videos from Tsiah IV due to the overwhelming understanding of all the stuff I was confused about just suddenly make me go "Ohhhhhh!" There's a lot of content that the writers of the Type-Moon and Fate content just gradually apply to their different works which makes it hard to put pieces together. I'm glad Tsiah IV goes through all that information extensively and brings it all together to make sense for those small brained peeps like me. I appreciate the work you put in to pass on the info for the simpletons. I never imagined that the concept of ley lines was created by a British dude. I had always assumed they were an Eastern development aligned with Feng Shui. It appears the ideals have merged over time, but I was watching this channel for extra lore on servants, not to comprehend fundamentals of architectural design. That is to say, I was really surprised by this fact, and that is awesome! I may sound a little over excited, but this "discovery" is in opposition to something I thought I "knew." Personally, I love finding out I was wrong (when it doesn't really affect me personally), so I'm just really happy to learn something new!

I that the reason the grail manifested so quickly from the 4th to the 5th war was because a wish wasn't granted and plenty of the prana that needed to be absorbed for resummoning stayed there.

Sick vid as always, every time I see a notification pop up for an upload I get hyped cause I’m always hungry for more nasuverse lore and I know you’ll deliver it in a chill and funny way. Speaking of which I’ve only really got into the nasuverse in the past two months, I’ve loved fate for years but never knew about tsukihime, kara no youkai and the one I want to ask about, notes. Question regarding artifacts to use as catalyst for summoning. Let's say I want to summon Superman...do I need all of the comic books that depicts only him to be my catalyst for summoning him in the grail war?

Assuming Superman is a real deceased person in-universe, it's murky. In Fate/Strange Fake, there was a fake version of Jack the Ripper (a spirit of someone else forced to materialize as JTR) because the catalyst was an imitation of a real knife he used. But why do you think you would need all of the comic books? Iskandar and his double were summoned from only a piece of his mantle. Any Knight of the Round can be summoned with a piece of the table, depending on your personal compatibility.

If he could be summoned, then it might be a different superman...one that only looks like him. Not the original. Just like JTR in strange fake, summoned from a knife replica, not from the original.

If you had a bit of his blood, hair, costume, article written by Clark Kent, tombstone, or Fortress of Solitude; you could use that to summon him. If you take him as someone who actually existed, then there would have to be something like that around. As for the version of him you summon, there would probably be only one associated with your world, in which case, you would know who. If every catalyst you could get were associated with every version of Superman, then it would come down to your compatibility with each one.
