The Original S&W Shield: Timeless Excellence

I’ve had mine since 2012. Phenomenal gun. And I’ve just left the safety off since I got it. Thousands of rounds, a few classes, and zero issues with this gun. I didn’t play with a shield plus for the first time the other day. If I can find one on the used market. I’ll definitely grab it. I think having a almost unnoticeably larger gun, with nearly 50% more ammo capacity is a huge benefit, especially in such a small gun.

I think the p365 is a good deal smaller than the Shield. 3 oz. lighter, .3" shorter, .3" less height.

You might be right about that one. It's amazing how they fit 10-rounds in that gun. I shot it once and it was very small. Strangely enough, The Sig P365 comes out and everyone wants to make it bigger.

@@theevenstevenchannel8220 Yes! That is the crazy part. They build a great shooting small gun then they come out with a bigger model. On the other hand, that model does make a great compact, high-capacity gun also. I have the small one and I think it is wonderful when you want to carry something small. Like the Glock 43 fans that brag that you can get a 15 round magazine for it. Buy a 15 round gun if you want 15 rounds.
