Both triggers are close, biggest difference is the interface with the sear. Unless this is different since it is the comp, the sear does not have a plunger under it, just a spring. On the Overwatch they use just the spring, on the Apex they add in a plunger again. The plunger does make the trigger feel a bit smoother and reset is better, I believe.

Apex tactical m&p metal trigger kit with apex m&p competition spring kit for m&p 1.0. Manual said it doesn’t fit, but I’ve been shooting mine for 3k rounds with no problem. It’s average about 2.1 lbs trigger pull.

@calvinspiff4348 I guess that external safety is not the most important thing in my life, but I just feel that when there are kids around, especially I feel more comfortable having as many features in place to prevent any kind of accidents and the external safety is as reliable as it gets. I know it's not necessary, but I still prefer it because, unlike myself, some people may not be as cautious or educated on firearms. It really just accounts for that 0.01% of accidents that do happen, I don't want my firearm being the one that does it. I'm consciously erring on the side of caution for safety sake. Not that I would ever leave my side arm unsupervised. That's a no-no, but even still, I feel more comfortable knowing that there are more than adequate mechanical hinderences to prevent any kind of misuse in any situation whatsoever.

The plastic plates break. If you drop it, or have it in a duty holster and fall, the optic can lose zero, in some cases totally. I'd recommend aftermarket plates from either C&H or Calculated Kinetics

Astigmatism suffers…..please note the scs holsun only comes in a 2 moa option and in green. Wish they would make 6 moa red version which is better for people with astigmatism. I own one and the green starbursts too much for me and there’s no way to really mitigate the effect with the default brightness settings because of the solar panels. The auto adjust works really well…..but if you need to set the dot to like 2 or 3 brightness settings…..you can’t. You get like 4 or 6 brightness thats it….or whatever the light sensor wants to adjust too.

@@SkipsGunz the larger reticle is worse for me, you have the dot, dot and circle, and the circle. Both circles are blurry for me and l can’t you lower the brightness low enough to make it usable. The 6 moa dots only slightly smear for me. I can still see a circular dot, 2 moa looks like firework with spider legs. I have a bad astigmatism in both eyes. 6 moa is the only option for me. I have scs on my Glock. Love the profile. But it’s not really usable for me. The star burst will obscure my target damn near completely. So lm guessing. I zeroed it at 15yrds. But it’s a risk. So l turn the dot off mostly.

Why would you carry with an open emitter that fills with dust and lint. Install the enclosed system that sits a bit higher with suppression height sights. They will co-witness. Shooting the gun I thought the trigger was fine?

I have heard of several people in the forums who had their plastic plate fail. $50 buys you a real plate made of metal from c&h precision. If you don't want to spend additional money on a plate or dont want to use a plate, holosun scs is your only option.
