I like the fact that you test ride the product before giving your opinion, honest review for sure! Thanks JD!

I tested these out the same day I did the Kspeed test ride! It was crazy rough so perfect day to test to the max!

It’s becoming harder and harder to find quality products made in the USA!
@mb_s197 Жыл бұрын
Should come like that from the factory!
@JDsWaterWorld Жыл бұрын
Yeah there lots the factory should have done, luckily we have some brilliant minds in the aftermarket to make up for the factory shortcomings!

Yeah me too, I put then in when the ski is anchored at the sandbar just to prevent any water from coming in when the ski bounces up and down in the wakes

@@SteveAppel-r2othanks for the comment! Yes and the best part is that I only feature products I actually use on my own ski- I don't accept payment or commissions at all- my only goal is to help others get out on the water and have a good time!
@fernandomartin624 Жыл бұрын
I got a set and I love them. Keeps the motor very dry but if the ski sleeps in the water some water can go in maybe.

Yes, and that is what the “night caps” are for- they are anodized plugs with o-rings that lock right to the versiplug and prevent any water from coming in or out if moored or in water overnight

I'm going to give these a try. I hate it when I'm riding and that thought comes to mind "Did I put the drain plug in?"
@JDsWaterWorld Жыл бұрын
Yeah they really are the best on the market, they are a bit more pricey than your cheap Chinese copies but it’s worth it since you’re getting US made components and top quality for the money

I always carry my West Marine oil extractor in the hull and usually have to pump out 3-4 gallons at some point during my ride. Until I take it apart to find the leak in the off season this is great device!
@JDsWaterWorld5 ай бұрын
May have a bad hose or a leaking fitting..is the water cold or Hot? Yeah the versiplugs keep your bilge completely dry assuming water is not coming in faster than they can bail it out!

So when you are in throttle on the river they’ll open up & release any water that’s in it?
@JDsWaterWorld11 ай бұрын
Yes, when the watercraft is moving forward in the water, any water that gets inside the hull will drain directly out the back. When you stop, the ball valves are forced shut but the pressure of the water outside of the hull. Simple yet effective design

Great video, 2 quick questions, 1. I noticed you removed your unlimited pwc exhaust tip, any specific reason? 2. Are these comparable to the unlimited pwc plugs?
@JDsWaterWorld9 ай бұрын
1. Yes the unlimited tip succumbed to salt water usage and began to lose its anodized coating, which ended up making it look pretty ghetto…2. The unlimited plugs didn’t give me any issues, but these PWC Doctor plugs have a filter element which prevents debris in the bilge from clogging the ball drain which is a great feature. Also the PWC Doctor plugs are made in the USA by a small business!
@jessescott13229 ай бұрын
@@JDsWaterWorld would you still recommend the exhaust tip for fresh water? I was looking at buying one, I only ride in fresh water, thanks for your reply
@JDsWaterWorld9 ай бұрын
Yeah it was a really nicely built tip- very heavy duty- it should hold up just fine in fresh water!

How about footwell drain install like Yamaha??
@JDsWaterWorld11 ай бұрын
I did love the drains on my Yamaha especially at wash down..but it’s a major point of potential failure with multiple hoses and plastic fittings that are subject to wear and breakage…
