I have to say that the most beautiful part of this whole clip i think is the last 30 seconds with Klaus just watching Hope dance. 1000 years has lead him to this and he's okay with dying so long as his daughter gets to live, really shows how far hes come.

The moment between Klaus and Caroline was honestly beautiful and touching. Even though they dont get the same amount of screen time as every other pairing. The chemistry they have with each other will always be amazing. Ive seen the scenes with Cami and as much as they are sweet I dont get the same vibe as I do when I watch Caroline and Klaus. She was the only person to genuinely make him smile and laugh when he first showed up. Yes he had his moments with Cami but i would like to point out that this was after he already began to change. When he hung around Caroline the good parts of him were getting drawn out and by the time he met Cami they were more out. Yeah he was still brutal towards people but before he never showed any side that wasnt cruel. What will always get to me is the way he always looks at her. He just has this look that just melts your heart. My fav at the moment is the look he has when Caroline tells him that she went to New Orleans looking for him. That face he makes

@@denisssadeny8942 I don't agree. I think he was in love with Cami. I mean, you are allowed to fall in love with more than one person. You will never love one person the same way you love another but that doesn't make them any less important to you.There certainly were parallels between Caroline and Cami. Klaus always sought out their 'light' but they were different people. The problem is that the writers were so set on the idea of "one true love." It's the same reason why Klaroline is not cannon because apparently it would be disrespectful to the memory of Stefan. It's been what 10 years since Stefan died longer since Cami's death and we're supposed to believe that they haven't moved on? I liked the characters but the writing got on my nerves. Even this last season of TO was so disrespectful to the characters killing them off just so showrunners could continue to profit from this franchise. If it wasn't because of Legacies there wouldn't be any need to kill off Klaus, Elijah, or Hayley.

This is just me wanting to express my thoughts. Feel free to agree or disagree. I think the reason they both couldnt kiss each other is because they knew this was goodbye. They already knew this was going to be hard so they felt that if they did it would be too painful. Klaus earlier states that he unfortunately cant have everything he wants. If he kissed her it would just further remind him of that. To me his face showed a mixture of pain, touched and surprise when Caroline told him that she went to New Orleans. Pain from the fact that his dream came through. That Caroline actually showed up in New Orleans for him and that he wasnt there to see it. Touched because she came to New Orleans as well as the fact that she came to HIM for help. Surprise because well she came to New Orleans. They both obviously wanted to kiss but when the bell struck it reminded them that Klaus is going to die. I mean here is the woman that he promised he would be her last love and because of whats going on he cant complete it. Caroline cares about him and Klaus asked her to kill him. For her it would bring so much turmoil if they kissed and then later killed him. When the bell rung it reminded her about whats going to happen soon and maybe that's why she pulled away. She couldn't do it. My point of this whole rant and i might end up adding to it later is that, this moment between them was too hard for them.

I still am holding on to that small chance of them being endgame. Don’t hate me, Steroline was nice but then Stefan died. Klaroline was always my favorite ship in both TVD and TO. They just had that strong chemistry and understanding of each other. Caroline had a way to make the villan in him change. She was one of the rare person able to call him out on his crap and not get killed. Klaus said that he would wait, no matter how long it takes. They should really end up together. In TO, Caroline is not tied down to Stefan, which means she and Klaus could be endgame. I cry every time they are together. I think since the last time they saw each other in TVD, Caroline has been through so much and has grown from it. Same for Klaus, he changed has well. Caroline went from a strong girl to a real woman. Now that she’s older in experience, they are perfect for each other. Klaus fancied the strong, sweet girl she was. Now that she has grown, he truly loves her in a certain way. My heart won’t be able to take it if he really dies.#Klaroline

Haha I do agree with you to an extent. I think Klaus and Caroline do care for each other but Caroline has always loved Stefan. She chose Stefan and said that she would love him forever. Yes he's died but her heart will always be with Stefan. And whilst Klaus might have loved Caroline at one point and still cares for her he loves Camille. I think their pulling away was because they've been though much together and are so familiar and good friends. Their hearts are with Camille and Stefan. Having said that if Klaus does survive (which I'm certain he will) and he moves on with Caroline I'll be mildly irked because it just feels so forced. Stefan and Caroline's romantic development was perfect...they were best friends and the development was done perfectly. I think Klaus and Caroline work great as friends but not romantically. I just think Caroline is pure and has such a strong caring heart that she always sees the good in people and refused to believe that there wasn't any good in Klaus.
