This Video is highly inaccurate. The Lombard invasion took Place in greater part of the south too. They estabilished three principalities: Benevento, Capua and Salerno, that lasted three more centuries after the Fall of the Lombard Kingdom in the North. The last lombard prince of Salerno, Gisulfo (Whissulf) the 2nd,was removed by Robert the Guiscard (the clever) who defeated the Italian southern Lombards . He removed Gisulfo marrying her sister Sichelgaita, and then estabilishing the Normans in the south. The arabs conquered only Sicily while making raids on the peninsula without settling. The levantine percentage of the southerner didn't come from the arabs but from the First Anatolian farmers Who settled in all of the mediterranean region, and even in the North of Europe. Stonehenge was built by Anatolian Farmers. Anyway all this is backed by genetic evidencies. I am from Salerno, near Naples, and my Gedmatch genetic analyses showed that I am 14% Lebanese, 13% Sardinian, 7% West German, 5% West Norwegian, being for all the rest South Italian

👆Exactly. The Etruscans were Before Romans who settled their City-States as far south as Campaign/Naples area ~ where the Greeks lived among Italians.

I noticed no mention of the Moorish Rule from 711 to 1492 under Tariq ibn Ziyad😊

Rule, yes. Genetic takeover? Very little. The Spanish were very thorough in getting the Moors out. Plus, most Moorish colonization occurred in Andalusia, in the far south.

There IS a video regarding that, by the "Curious Economist" two days ago-but we're pretty sure their credentials are undeterminable. You're making us hungry, but wanted to ask, have you ever tried breaking angel hair spaghetti into small pieces such as the size of little macaroni's, and covering them with a "tomato gravy?""Spaghetti can be SO MESSY! FINALLY! An EXCELLENT video on Italian heritage! Doesn't sound to be by an AI narrator, either. Beautifully accomplished! We all know that a love song sung in Italian always seems to have more love in it ! When I went to find singers , I found a most eloquent and elegant singer in Italy, who sings in Italian, French, Spanish AND English extremely well. No wanting connections in Hollywood (that I've know well, in my past btw) and hoping Bocelli and Brightman would someday hear one and want to record it, I let her sing many of my love songs (in two different languages) If only I'd moved TO Italy instead of California twenty years ago! Maybe I'm not too little too late Afterall?! "The Man I Almost Married," "One Enchanted Evening, I Found an Old Friend", (Italian) by Ana Marie Ceuca And " Loving You All day Long!" in French "My Dear Lord, Master of the Universe," and "The Great Awakening!" "The Little Blue Mermaid for Children" in Three languages too! LyndaFayeSmusic@Yahoo/Bandcamp

Actually Italians are not diverse they come from the same Roman ancestry and Italy has had little invasions that did not change their gene pool.

No. The Romans use tò call and consider provinces..every Land With another culture but inside the Roman empire. The First province of the Roman empire was Sicily..wich at the time was under Hellenic/Punic influence. No One speak latin in Sicily at the time..and in the Italians peninsula were a lot of other tribes, latin/Roman were only One among all this.

And Italy is so genetically diverse that we have more ethnic groups in Italy than the whole Europe
@capresti35373 ай бұрын
@@Francesco1044 Romans took control of Sicily from the Greeks, Latin was introduced and they now speak a Latin language which is Italian. Sicilians have ancient Roman DNA like all Italians.

@@capresti3537 Sicily was considered a province and out of the Roman Culture before the Romans came. Stupid idiot go to study

By the way this video is not 100 percent correct according to scriptures of the skin color of Noah and his Kids!

You think skin color automatically = ethnicity? Italians can be really light and really dark, many Mediterraneans can be ANY color💀💀
