The other side of G.A.S. or How I stopped worrying & learned to love my synths

Great take on GAS, totally agree with your perspective. When the Mavis came out, i thought "that's the one i should have gotten" (istead of the Werkstatt i have), but have decided to stay with the WS a while longer and make more use of it first. I also mostly use it for great basslines, sometimes analogue lead. What i miss on the WS are some other waveforms (VCO/LFO) and i wish the expander patching module was vertical instead of horisontal - but since it is the Werkstatt, i'm also thinking i should mod it rather than changing it for something else, we'll see in time haha 😊 I also have a plan (or hope) to learn to love my Xiosynth, it can sound ok but the hardware and interface is horrible, lol (Audiopilz has a hilarious video on that one) 😂 But yeah, stations or dedicated purpose work well.

I had a xiosynth for a min. Totally understand what ya mean😂unfortunately my WS died (maybe?) And I’ve decided against a largish (6u 104hp) modular setup in lieu of a modest single 60hp to pair with the Subharmonicon. And the op-z and digitone are in that new ‘station’ too! Glad yr enjoying this stuff fam! More stuff is on the way soon stay tooned…
