God I duno if I can ever go back to 30fps. Same way I can't play ps3 games anymore cause the screen tearing and frame stuttering is atrocious

I completely agree with you, i even find it hard to play on the nintendo switch due to the weaker hardware. I had to sell the ps3 due to eye strain

@@gamingyourway3152 hopefully they release a patch a year or so down the road. I'm sure it isn't hard to add in an uncapped frame rate option.

@@samcs06 yes sir, i tried recording ps4 Gameplay of Greedfall and it was horrible. It had screen tearing, motion blur max out, and a locked 30fps.

I'm a weirdo because I'm quite the opposite. I can't get used to 60fps because I feel like I'm watching a soap opera instead of a Hollywood movie.

This looks way better than my PS4 and I never got a pro but managed to get the ps5 from Best Buy last week. I hope this has a 60fps mode, even for a lower resolution. I think a lot developers should consider a backwards compatibility performance update so that there is even more to re-experience (I know a lot of games have done that but a lot are just leaning on the backwards compatibility from Sony’s end). This game is the closest new game I have to the older rpg Bethesda games I grew up on (oblivion which is my all time favorite game even though there are a lot of ps2 games that come close and Fallout 3 which was WAY better than NV to me because NV was bland af and the dlc was relatively boring but you could aim down the sights so it was popular.

I agree i hope more developers take advantage of the newer hardware to make the game run better by frame rate and resolution. But since developers have to pay sony and microsoft for each update they do on their platform it seems less than likely they will I was hoping this game wouldve been like fallout3 or new vegas but the world seems empty for the most part

NV wasn't popular cause you could aim down the sights? Sure it was bland looking but it was popular because of all the different decisions you could make with several quests, I found the DLC interesting because of Ulysses. Heard several people say this yet they only played the game once at most. And this game probably won't get an update for PS5 because Obsidian is owned by Microsoft.

@@Archemetics I’m saying that aiming down sights was a reason that it was more popular that FO3. I know it may not seem that way but man when NV launched I remember not many people liking it over 3 besides the mechanics (smoother VATS, ads, survival, and more advanced faction system). Fallout 3 wins in narrative and setting for me. New vegas wins for wacky fallout charm and more advanced gameplay. Both are fantastic entries that I would take over FO4 and FO76 any day. Not even a close contest, Bethesda after 2011 kind of tanked for me. Oblivion was better than Skyrim, morrowind was the closest best Elder Scrolls based on how they modernized them. If you like classic PC games than FO2 and TES Daggerfall are probably the best in their respective series.

@@Archemetics this is an unpopular opinion as well, but I thought the dlc on fallout 3 were some of the best expansions in expansion history (behind Witcher 3 dlc and Dragon Age Origins DLC). Point lookout and operation anchorage are still popular lore pieces now (fallout 4 got a 2021 update where they added cosmetics from those DLCs)

@@zaccarter3801 I personally enjoyed FNV because it landed in the ball park with the Classic Fallout Games for me, but yes Fallout 3 was pretty great. I thought you were saying that New Vegas had nothing to offer except aiming down sights which kind of ticked me off, nobody originally liked New Vegas because it had a buggy launch due to the time restriction Bethesda forced on Obsidian.
