Agreed..one of the more under-rated bands ever. In fact, a few years back I met their producer (Bill Whitman) at a gig (for another band) and we both kinda laughed about it..iI his words.."Just a little band that sold a Gazillion records"/ How true!!! Well despite the ups and downs of fame, the music is still as good as ever and the band is back at full strength. Thank to Tony,John and Alan.

They do such great recordings....finding the CD would be even better!! Either way, The OUTFIELD is a great band and CONTINUES to make great music even today. They deserve our support!

Voices of Babylon is there best album....but California sun ...and shake your thing are my 2 favorite songs ever by the outfield.....These 2 new songs are masterpiece's...

I like this version of Aladdin's Cave with the vocal intro, because it's so catchy. Also, the first song I've ever heard from this album is California Sun off of KZbin. My favorite from this album would be, "Who Would You Be", because it's catchy and I like the "Loser, loser" lines of the song.

I thought the CDs released after Voices of Babylon weren't as FOCUSED, as a band. The writing was weak,in my opinion. The songs werent as catchy, and it seems that the band wasn't confident in what they were doing. Thats my opinion. But the new CD has the band sounding as good as ever and there catchy songs (California Sun for example)..as well as songs that show the band has more in them than "Play Deep". I think it is well worth buying. Give it a try!

You can see what Bill Whitman is up to at .weedywet.com thats his site. I think he really can do great work...but alot of what people want isNOT well crafted Rock music,it seems. Its a weird time for that.. I know, I make music professionally ...but as for me, The OUTFIELD is fine.

Honestly, Bill Whitman has produced a number of artists..but imho, his best work was with the OUTFIELD. I wish he would team with them again...but maybe his focus has changed. When I ran into him he was working with a rather PUNK driven band..very loose...it seemed to me. But anyway, the latest OUTFIELD fine!!!!
