Hey Lydia :D super fun video, I loved it as per haha. I am mid planning my wedding which is in July. I have loved the whole process. I defiantly have loved planning this with my Mummy and Sister, as I value and trust their opinions. It can get a bit over whelming so they are good support. So I would defiantly use what help is on offer as wedding planning can be stressful. But I don't think you will have too much trouble, from what I saw in the engagement video, Ali is quite the event planner! ;P A Happy New Year to you both. xx

I had my mum involved in my wedding preparations so much that she was basically doing a job of a wedding planner, so if you don't have anyone to help you with it I think you should go ahead and hire someone that will listen to you and realize your vision. It's just once in a lifetime and you should do it as big as you want to! I'm sure it will be a wonderful day!
