Since Amity is in the episode and y'all get really excited whenever she is, I'm gonna say it again. ❤️ Please do not leave comments that include spoilers of *any* *kind* . That most definitely *includes* insinuations, vaguely worded references, etc. He's not stupid. He knows your comments are references to the show, even if he doesn't know what they mean *exactly* . You're not being clever, you're spoiling plot threads. Any speculations, rambles or questions he presents in the video are just him talking, they're not an invitation for us to answer his questions *unless* they're directly and *only* related to this episode *and* we can answer without giving anything away in regards to future episodes. Amity calling her a bully and the writers managing to make it so from *her* perspective, rather than the one we've been watching as the audience, it's understandable *why* she thinks that, is absolutely brilliant writing honestly. And only in 7 episodes. *Chef's* *kiss* Cause like, while the moments directly with her and Willow she's the one in the wrong (like the one in the beginning of episode 3), it's not the same for her and Luz. It's gratifying as the audience to see Luz get into the school during episode 3, but she *wasn't* an abomination so Amity did wrongfully lose her badge. Luz did knowingly cheat during their match in episode 5, and while it was understandable from our perspective because we're watching Luz's journey's, Amity doesn't know her. She just knows she was challenged to a duel and then Luz cheated. And now, here, she's sneaking around in the library with her older siblings and invading her private space that's supposed to be hidden. Going through her *diary* . And, more humiliatingly, it's on a night when the words project themselves into reality. Also, on a different note, love seeing Eda's material side coming out there at the end! King immediately going down with the kids to listen to the story, like his eyes got so big he was so excited 🥺💞 he's so precious And seeing more of the creatures in the Isles! The Bat Queen and her babies, the kids that Amity was reading too. I believe Braxus, the little guy who thanked Amity, is the same species as the Warden from episode 1! You mentioned "just drawing the angry eyebrows made him this way" in regards to the Monster effected by the Wailing Star and I completely relate cause I watched so many reactions to this episode before I realized that Edric also drew claws on him lol

True, Luz made a bad call by helping Willow cheat...BUT Amity drew first blood (so to speak) by talking down to Willow. Her calling Luz a bully, to an extent, feels like a real "pot calling the kettle black" sort of moment

13:37 - A lot of people miss this because it's a split second, but they actually drew claws as well not just eyebrows. That's why the claws glow with that teal/cyan color that the eyebrows glow with too.

I saw the potential with Amity's character in the Witch's Duel episode but this is where it really hits home. Amity being slow to accept Luz is understandable given their first meeting was Luz getting her in trouble while helping someone cheat on a test.

I know I'm a bit behind, but if you haven't already, you should *definitely* watch Little Witch Academia. It's an anime about a girl who wants to become a witch too, and I see *SO* many parallels in this show. In fact, LWA draws heavily from western animation and even takes influences from creators like Rebecca Sugar. It's also where Diana Cavendish (my name and profile picture) comes from, and she's definitely the Amity of the show xD
