So i watched this video of yours. I think hmmm I go to my closet and pull down my two white dress shirts I never wear.. No wonder, they fit like crap! I toss em in the Goodwill bag ( btw the Goodwill bag grows every time I watch one of your videos). 2 days later I'm at the store and a white button down Oxford catches my eye, try it on and I fits like it was tailored $21.00 . I've worn it just about every way you've recommended and I get a compliment each time. I really like your timeless outfit styles, I'm 50 years old and about 20 Years older than my co- workers and they (now) tell me how well put together I am.. You rock Ashley !

One of the biggest practical differences between dress shirts and Oxford shirts is that dress shirts will typically have stiffer collars to hold up against ties, whereas Oxford shirts are typically not worn with ties and use the same material on the collar as the rest of the shirt.

Great video, I tend to have trouble finding shirts. I always see them in M L or XL. I'm a slim fit 36 /37 with a 16 neck. L fit in the waist but not the arms. XL fit in the arms but not the neck and waist. Tailoring ends up being too expensive or has too much fabric to take off. Any suggestions, I've been trying to find an Oxford that fits but doesn't break the bank. Thanks!

The first shirt I think of when I'm going out. Might I suggest, though, Kamakura Shirts. They're a company from Japan that produces high-quality shirts(Oxfords being the most popular) for a measly $80. I can't recommend them enough. They're on par or even maybe better than the current $140 Brooks oxfords. Check 'em out. :)

Honestly, it's unsurprising you've not heard of it. Most people who've heard of this company usually dress in that 60's Ivy League look(Myself included). Brooks is fantastic, don't get me wrong, but adding $45 for the removal of the collar lining and MOP buttons is a bit much is all.

No this brand is way older than her and older than me, my father and grandfather. Very few people still know this brand. I am in Smashville and they said they were opening Oxford Shop. I was so excited. But when I got there they did not even have one Oxford items. They had all kinds of things I don't like and never heard about. Not the the items ugly as hell the prices were on top of the earth. You want the I things that go back like Allan Edmond and Johnston and Murphy.

Vince Conard look at the Uniqlo Oxfords. I found them to be good looking, comfy, well priced. I do find their cuffs to be overly tight making it hard to access thicker watches like the Apple Watch.

No, that is an insult to this brand. This is old school British main brand. It's just like gold and daimond we talk about it but the day we see it we don't know it. They have many brands out there from back in the day and their prices are way too low as people don't Hunt them down, either people have forgotten or they don't know them. Have heard if Cardigan or Footjoy Pepsi. I have my Saxon and Church of England shoes. Pringle is another great button down shirt. Daks of London and many more brands I can go check in my closet. It amazes me how a no name brand and a very young brand cost too much than original. Trust me some of the new brands you Wash them a few times they are gone. I told someone but they didn't believe me and now they regret it. Brands I like have stood the test of time. They range all the way back to the 1600. You think that's too old. Put on your outfit and let do my thing. I get a kick out of it. When warring nice I see lots if guys running away or they will keep looking at my shoe and I be mumbling keep your head up damit. I do odd jobs and working around people with long and sofisticated titles. I wish I could make a movie out of it

try everthingbespoke.co.uk for really good made to measure shirts made in far east in about a month or less sometimes. They are very adaptable and following yoiur specific instructions carefully. Their site is easy to use too. I go for tap collar shirts with 2.25" spread; unfused 3.5" long roll collar shirts and finally 3.5" spread unfused - 3.5" straight 1940's style collar all for a very reasonable sum. Their oxford range is sadly limited (but white is tops) , but plenty of stripes, broadcloths & end of end. I have no vested interest but just letting you guys know you dont just have to go to expensiver Mercer & Sons etc.
