Thank you. I did enjoy hearing Stephanie Cole as Ariadne. I think I remember hearing this on the radio many years ago. Liked and subscribed.

One of my favourites - the tv adaptation was very very good - not usual but this was the exception I read the book too and enjoyed it very much 🍷😬

Very well produced. I’ve listened to this audiobook, but too long ago, so I’m still enjoying it! But. . . Death wish, my foot! Every living thing struggles like hell to stay alive. “Life wants Life!” It’s only when an animal is completely exhausted that it may just give up. And humans, of course, being incredibly complicated have reasons at times. I really hate the death wish crap!! Even Freud himself didn’t want to go. He took his medication and wanted to stay. 🌷🌷i‘m thinking of flowers, running in the sunshine, reading or listening to Jeeves & Wooster, Peter Pan, The Hobbits. Do have a great day! :)😊🌷🌱

I have seen two versions of this story and have heard of a third, but this short version is a perfect ninety minute audio version.

1:01:18 this actress scares the living heck outta me. She played a horrible woman in another mystery play - a Holmes’ i think. If i were at this séance, i’d run out as fast as i could!! 😮😧 🌷lol 1:05:29 this is really too damn scary - and I don’t even give this stuff a second thought. But it really is amazing how the mind can be fooled. They both are just too good!!!

She plays Aunt Agatha in Jeeves and Wooster starring Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie, which I've watched all the way through approximately 10 thousand times over the years. Just imagine how it is for me, the only voice I can pick out of the crowd to assign a face to in this drama, and she's Aunt Agatha. Not sure if it's brilliant mental casting or cursed.

The BBC acts as if Agatha was the ONLY British writer
@miranda7598Ай бұрын
Why don't you upload plays then????
@cheshirecat7132Ай бұрын
Other channels have other BBC uploads of other writers. For starters, Rumpole is a lot of fun . Edit: in defense of Agatha, more of he stories have sold than any other writer. She’s in a class of her own. Once upon a time I had a collection of all of her works, including Brit and US editions, and those she wrote under her nom de plume. I was a teen fan girl. With my poor vision I no longer buy books other than cookbooks. .. I miss them. They were great friends over the years.

The BBC has created thousands of adaptations of great literary works. In addition to Agatha Christie, they have dramatized hundreds of classics by Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Dickens, George Eliot, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Charlotte Brontë, and many others. They have also done extensive work on modern literature.

Hy, I loved Gudrun, it starts at chapter 7 and is saga of a young pagan woman as the onset of Christianity starts to rage through northern Europe.Its not by Agatha Christie and narrator is second to none.its on BBC sounds originally....x
