First time viewer of the channel. I love buffets and so I watch my fair share of Buffet tours. This is without a doubt the best buffet tour I’ve seen. I love this visit! I love the staff especially the egg master :) I felt badly for the person carving. He could have been new or caught off guard. I've worked in the food industry and often can go an entire service without anyone talking to me. I loved how excited you got when you saw the smoke & fire station and the design your own ice cream sandwich cookie. I knew you would not like that hot Cheetos mac & cheese! I was excited about the egg Foo young. The fine quality of that french onion soup was very impressive for a reasonably priced buffet! I loved this tour so much! I can't thank you enough since we can't make a trip ourselves! I really appreciate you!

Has got to be my favorite buffet so far. Not an overwhelming selection, but everything was beautifully prepared and presented. You seem to be having a great time at this buffet. You have grow comfortable doing this, and it’s a blast to watch you eat your way through Vegas.

Another great video Derek! I think this buffet looks phenomenal. A lot of thought was put into offering foods that are not usually found at Vegas buffets, such as the eggs in tomato sauce. I like the nod to people on special diets with their healthy section and the super fun ice cream sandwiches. I am sorry that I didn’t make it there this past trip but I will definitely stop by in June. Aloha!

Ate here in late 2014 with my folks before the renovation. Step-dad took us there because Bacchanal had doubled in price and said this was the second best (he's full of it by the way), I thought it was an alright buffet and not as stellar as I'd thought. The place looks a lot better now, and so does the food. On an unrelated note: Mmmmmmmmmmmmm Chive cream cheese ( *drools* )

One of the best buffets I have seen. Huge kudos to palms on how clean and organized it is. I would go out of my way for this buffet. So many things not found in the typical buffets. Definitely looked better than Bellagio Cesar’s and MGM

Hey, I found your videos just before our Vegas trip, and the Palms A.Y.C.E buffet really stood out to us. Had dinner there last night (19.99 ea. with a freshly-obtained rewards card), and it was great! Loved the French onion soup! Other standouts were the Walnut Shrimp and Mustard Salmon. The only problem we had was that we arrived toward the end of service, and by the time I was ready for dessert, they had already put everything away except for ice cream. My wife did get to try some desserts, and gave them high marks. Thanks for bringing this great buffet to our attention... we probably wouldn't have found it otherwise!

Many thanks for the timely review of this new buffet. A few observations: 1) The “Revival” section did not appear to be exactly mobbed; but then, maybe it was the time of day. 2) The “Smoke and Fire” station would be my starting point! 3) Vegan brownies? Say it ain’t so! 4) The china is quite attractive, and the plates are of a useful size, too! 5) Hummm. Left-over carpet from the casino put to good use in the buffet? 6) I was impressed by how often the staff cleaned up drips and spills; would that all buffets did the same. Again, thanks for this long-awaited opening.

Went there for breakfast. $12.99, $10.99 for Station Casino membership. Many entrees were in individual dishes (like the Wicked spoon), beverages are served via wait staff. The food was very good, about the quality of Treasure island for breakfast. Thanks for suggesting this place Derek, and right afterwards see a movie on IMAX in the Palms.

I remember we got something in the Food Court at Earl's of Sandwich, then walked to the casino and saw a decent line. $17 per person, and we had spent $24 for two at Earl's. I was definitely upset, but that doesnt mean i wont come back and try Ayce Buffet! The Palms Place is definitely my favorite off strip (which i dont even really consider off strip) hotel !

Not a huge selection compared to some others...but... everything looked VERY well prepared/high quality! Only thing I have an issue is that everyone handling those serving spoons,you should wash your hands before eating..to be on the safe side...cause people can be gross. Plus liked they offered some different selections you don't normally find.

I always bring a napkin so only the napkin touches the serving spoons. It should be mandatory for all to clean theyr hands before entering the buffet area and staff enforcing it.

Have never considered a buffet at Vegas, because anything over $25 dollars, you won't get your monies worth. But for $22, the next time I come to Vegas I'll definitely stop at the Palms.

lol. Speak for yourself. I get my monies worth every time I come to Vegas. I got my monies worth when I had a great burger at Gordon Ramsey's, I got my monies worth when I had some great shakes at Holsteins, I got my monies worth when I had a great salad at Yardbird, I got my monies worth when I stayed at Paris for 4 days for $300 ( including resort fees ), and I got my monies worth when I went to Battlefield Vegas. You probably don't "understand" that getting one's monies worth is quite subjective.

Rebeldoug yes the Psalms does. I didn't use the shuttle as I was out there with family. But they do have shuttle service to and from the strip. The Linq if I remember is one of the properties is takes passengers to. 😊

REAL johnnycakes?!? Mmm cornmeal pancakes fried in bacon grease and topped with real butter and hot maple syrup. My Grandpa got the recipe back in the 1920's and served them in his cafe in the 40's and 50's. He made them for us grandkids in the 70's in his 70's. One of the few things I ever knew him to cook. Grandma ran the kitchen!

That’s a really good looking buffet for the price. I’m thinking since it was a brunch that several things were missing you would normally find on the dinner buffet. I bet there is a limited offering of sea food and more Italian dishes on a non brunch buffet. Your Palms buffet review of a year ago shows just how much of an improvement this new buffet is.

@@mikeylikey6176 I don't live in the US so I'm curious about the protocol when you have paid for the buffet should you give a tip if you have something made to order, eg the custom omelette maker? I would like to think that people would do some research on a countries customs to avoid looking disrespectful. I went to the US with my family about 27 years ago when I was 13. My Dad left Mum to tip the taxi driver while he checked into the hotel. She got herself so mixed up and only tipped 50 cents. Needless to say the driver took off in a very bad mood. We can laugh about it now however it was a case of a foreigner being ignorant (sorry mum) Xx
