I may be in the minority, but I LOVE Michelle Phillips' singing voice.

what minority? all of them has great voice.

boom bacca Michelle had an adequate voice for harmony, never ready for prime time as a soloist. Michelle described her voice as weak in an interview, because of that it complimented Cass Eliott’s voice. Great results in the end.

I knew the commercial Mamas and Papas tunes for many years, but have only recently begun to discover their rarer more far out stuff - what a treat, and great to hear them set to such far out visuals as yours!

Though you're not quite seven what is most like Heaven it's the joy thats found with your arms around just the right somebody to love Soft rhythms of her feet soft buckskin next to my cheek oh, the long hair unbound tumbling down musical songs without sound Strong magical lines over the land strange mystical lines on her hands Twin Gemini, split in two half is for me, half for you Gemini childe Gemini childe, woman grown lost in a world not her own my midnight friend, split in two half is for me, half for you Gemini childe (Gemini childe)

Gemini Childe es considerada la cancion mas psicodelica del album The Papas and the Papas, precisamente las letras de la cancion se refieren a una realidad alternativa...esta muy buena!!interpretada por ellos, y su armonia vocal Exelente!!

Minority? she was a fundamental piece in the group. Her voice, style and beauty it was so important for the band like the another elements of everyone on the band. Safe in my garden its not a song without Michelle's fragile voice, her high notes are just uniques, listen to "glad to be unhappy" (Cass 's vocal range its not going so high)

Who co-wrote two of their greatest hits. Get back to watching The Voice if you can't wrap your head around the notion of a vocal harmony group.

Michelle and Cass were the yin and the yang. By that, I mean Cass had to tone down her voice and Michelle had to sing louder. Its why their harmonies are magical.

@mista meener If she were "the Ringo", why was it so hard to replace her? That Cindy girl only lasted a month or two. It sounds like you don't know/understand music very well.
