I grew up in Southern California (Newport Beach 🏝️). I was a teenager in the mid sixties and was able to see quite a lot of bands in that time. Saw the Airplane twice. We didn’t think we were ‘making history’ it was just what we did - go to concerts and have a great time.

When I was a kid I used to see this hippy, street guy playing guitar around the Boulder Mall and in Nederland. Little did I know it was a famous rock star named Steven Stiils.
