I didn't even know there WAS a TV series. What a delightful little show! Thank you.

Thank you for posting! It brings warm memories from my childhood! I looooved the paper chase, even though I was probably too young to fully appreciate it!

I used to watch this pretty much every week. Great show. I was a teenager. What year? 1980? I was in my late teens. 59 now and this is the FIRST time I've seen this since it was scrapped. Did it last more than one season? Didn't see the film until a few years later.

46:23 - I think "in the weeks to come" was dubbed in. I can't see his lips following his words. His mouth said "eventually", but his voice said "in the weeks to come".

I'd have to say Houseman was still the only actor here who remained a real name after this show ended. Some faces that remained familiar to me after this was done,but I can't think of anything remarkable or memorable that any of them subsequently did. Feel free to enlighten me about this.

James Stephens (Hart) appeared in a wonderful episode of "M*A*S*H," playing a wounded classical pianist unable to perform again. David Ogden Stires (Winchester) convinces the forlorn musician to consider conducting or teaching.

I was born in 76 and caught a few episodes on cable, wasn't there a scene where the professor wrote down the word assume and told the student when you assume, you make an ASS out of U and ME?

notice at the end, man who gets into lift says professor Kingsford instead of Kingsfield

Kingsfield changed the names of the 2 Harvard halls where assignments are posted from Harvard's Langdell & Austin Halls to generic Smith and Wilson Halls. The TV show deHarvardized the movie.

Wondering why there is no interesting movie on Law school students & their trials/tribulations in the last few decades?
@roastbeefsandwich67692 жыл бұрын
The third year law student tells everyone not to worry about the screamer but explains it only to Hart. Students in the hall look around but all are clueless as to the direction of the screams as if they come down from the ceiling. Hart is too clueless to own a watch, all to add substance to the script.

@@jamessatter7418 also in the Rockford files Jim Rockford has a old trailer home in a beachfront parking lot. Don't spaces like that go for millions of dollars? I see cars parking in the parking lot but no other motorhomes. Talking about making no sense. And on The Night Stalker with Cark Kolshak why does everyone constantly hassle him including his editor when he solves the crime every time?
