The Dolphiners Film’s Director could have picked up the phone and call Ador like a grown man adult that he is. Instead of going to social media like a teenager. But he is a director who is also conducting business so I can see why he is all over the place. This is why you always have a CEO who isn’t a director or producer or creative director all rolled into one. Kakao owns his company so surely they have enough money to hire someone so they don’t embarrass themselves this way.

@@overthinkingkpop Why? Ador only asked that they take down the DIRECTOR'S CUT. Because it contains elements NOT APPROVED BY ADVERTISERS. The director could check his contract, or pick up the phone and asked Ador for clarification. But he did not. He went straight to social media. THINK. Your response played straight to their strategy. It is corporate warfare by public opinion, or in this case, by fandom's simplemindedness. I am always wondering why the kpop industry is so unprofessional. I guess because it is cheaper to just use the fandoms rather than hire a lawyer.

i think “ditto”, particularly the music video and the ban heeso channel that the director came up with, carried a huge amount of respect people have for the newjeans project. when i think about nwjns without ditto it just doesn’t feel as powerful. hopefully its legacy doesn’t continue to be removed online

hybe banned the producers of ditto's visuals from working with newjeans again. the producers had promised newjeans that they'd work together again but that's not happening :((

No because the way Hybe did not hesitate to get rid of the Ban Heeso channel it is so disrespectful, and really reinforces the idea that they do not care about the art and hard work of all the people that participated on this project.

I streamed this song about 1400 times ever since it came out. The loneliness of youth concept hit so hard with me as someone who just moved to a new country alone. It was my anchor and I needed this lifeline. I’ve stopped listening to it as much as I wanted to start anew and leave that chapter behind but whenever I hear it again, those feelings come straight back and I think there’s beauty in that. Like a time capsule we bury away to eventually dig up and reminisce about the past. Even though we are not the same as we were then, be it interests or feelings, it were and always will be apart of us and we will cherish those memories and experiences that has made up who we are today.

this is such a new spin on ditto's concept! i really appreciate the unique takes you bring to the ktube space. ditto is my favorite new jeans project by far at the moment. the song is great, the choreo is fun, and the paired music videos are totally genius. watching the ban heesoo channel was such an integral part of this era and i'm so sad it's been taken down. ditto will definitely live on for me as one of the best conceptual projects i've ever seen. Edit: ban heesoo channel is back!

Ban heeso's videos being taken down on that channel, Hybe removing people adding people to Ador , i think they gonna ruin Newjeans and Ador one the companies with a great execution of the work, i really don't have good feelings for the future of them but who knows maybe they will become even better!?

Ditto, ok now say it back pls. I got no time to loooOOOOoose… This song is almost… 1-2 years old, right (in Kpop terms it’s basically like it came out in 98’)? Despite that age, the concept is still so timeless, which is almost the antithesis to how this industry works (I love fast fashion but for music amirite.) I may dislike Ador/MHJ for their practices, but I will give props to excellent marketing, concept and above all execution. In turn, good job Ditto.

With recent changes in ador and hybe I think NeeJeans having first comeback with concept of their fans moving on from kpop was not a bad choice at all. Unless MHJ returns as a producer I don't think we will ever get a project from NewJeans with this level of commitment.

Been a Kpop Stan since 2015, when I was 13. I am now 22 and I feel this year truly feels like I am starting to distancing myself from Kpop more and more. Idk after all these things happening this year in Kpop and how Kpop fan culture keeps getting worse and worse, I just don’t feel real joy about it anymore as I used to. As I am also graduating this year from college, I feel like that this stan culture thing isn’t even remotely possible anymore for me. Guess I am slowly moving on…. I love Ditto I think it’s one of those songs that people can attach very personal meanings too and it can be interpreted differently depending on how you perceive the MV and the lyrics. For me Ditto is a song I’ve tied to 11th grade because I’ve always interpreted the lyrics to be about unrequited feelings and I had a crush on my friend that never went anywhere that year. I think the song somehow really carries that feeling of loneliness and longing in it. It’s a gem.

When I first listened to ‘Ditto’, I thought wow this song is pretty good, but the first time I watched ‘Ditto’ music video, I felt it that this gonna be special. The whole theme represented our longing of things we have or used to have. It felt that the MV was just simple yet so timeless it made us come back to watch it over and over. The fact that it was revealed by Minji’s mom that she loves to go to school but SOURCE tried to stop her and the whole ‘Odoriko’ performance in her Tokyo Dome, it felt like giving ‘Ditto’ another layer of sadness.

i love ditto concept and story so much, it is so relatable, i was very lonely during my teen years and my "friends" during that time were twice, they helped me to get through those tough years, then i had to grow up and distance myself a bit from them but i never left ❤ even now that i'm an adult, have a job, a family with my boyfriend and my stepdaughters, i still find so much joy watching twice content when i have free time to do so... and i even went to their concert on the beginning of the year, it was a dream come true 🥹❤️
