I agree! He had such a warm, sensible paternal energy. As a kid who grew up with both parents, but oceans away from grandparents I felt the feelings all the kids of divorced or deceased parents felt but towards the grandfather. And he helped Lindsay tell the truth to her mom and paid for the boat date for the parents.

I was absolutely devastated. I loved her so much and The Parent Trap was one of my favorite movies growing up. It’s timeless, it’s beautiful and it’s funny. I’m so glad that it’s still popular❤

The Parent Trap has always been one of my favorite movies and as they all said, there's something truly special about this film and its entire cast, so huge props to Nancy and Charles because everyone was so perfect in their roles. I have watched the movies countless times and each time is as if its the first time, I never feel like skipping a scene or that there is a dull transitional scene. It's such a classic and timeless story that flows so well and I am always engaged in it. I love that Dennis and Lindsay reenacted the Dad scene, something so simple yet so endearing.
