First, I want to commend the two of you for not only opening with prayer requests, but truly making them from your hearts. Cancer has touched my life with family and friends too many times. Praying for Lisa's restoration to health. And, the impact of the loss of a child is horrific regardless of the age of the child. I remember New Years afternoon, 1984. The maintenance guy at the last radio station I worked at called me at home. A mutual friend from the station passed away that morning. Fred was 53. Seeing his 80-something mother at the mortuary brought so many of us to tears. Fred was an only child who hardly knew his father as he had a heart attack when Fred was only a few years old. The bond of a parent to their child is one of the strongest constants in the universe. And, that parental bond extends to our Heavenly Father's love for us. Praying for that family that they find comfort in the promise of the Resurrection. As for the review itself, your usual excellence once again. As for the 3% credit card upcharge, so many places are doing that these days. The dealer where I take my car for service "builds it in" to their invoice on every order, but deletes it if you use a debit card. One final comment about including the prayer requests. PSE continue as you see the need. That's what makes both of you blessings in an otherwise arid desert of mediocrity. God Bless!

I can only imagine the pain that would be. It's one I hope I never have to feel, and wouldn't wish that on anyone. And yes, you are correct...It doesn't matter what age they are. Park Grill is my favorite! I love the salad bar too! Next time get the Nanner pudding! I had it and it is so delicious and huge in a pint jar! I split it with my husband! It seems strange seeing yall back in Gatlinburg and not in Florida! I LOVED every video you did on your vacation! Praying for your friends! I can't imagine losing a child! Prayers for your friends. The qr code does work on the tv screen. I have heard that they have great burgers there. Good looking salad bar there. Glad you had a good meal. We have this restaurant on our list of places to try. I like that they don't apply an extra upcharge for using a credit/debit card. Nice review!

I had to go back and watch our previous review from 2 years ago, but I said in that review that it was one of the better burgers I've had. I remembered liking it, but I didn't remember it being among the best. But apparently, it was.

We have never been to Park Grill despite MANY trips to the area.........we do love the Peddler. Maybe next time we'll try Park Grill. I would love to see you do a visit to Foothills Milling Company in Maryville. It is expensive...........truly (for us at least) only a special occasion restaurant but it is lovely with amazing food and superb service. God bless you. I really love your videos.

We just spent a week on Oregon Coast and did have 1 restaurant charge the 3% for credit card. First encounter with that on west coast. Your meal looked very good I did think it was a little pricy. Nice salad bar. Enjoy your weekend.

Also been eating at The Park Grill since it was new. Originally it didn't have the salad bar. Went a couple of weeks ago after hiking Rainbow/Bullhead to Leconte. Had the Pork barbecue plate w salad bar for $20. Salad bar alone is $19. Love the smoked oysters 😋

Well, I'm glad somebody enjoys the smoked oysters. For me, that was one of the worst things I've ever had. But I do love the rest of the salad bar, and I actually thought about getting the pulled pork plate for $20. I may try that next time. Thank you for watching!

Cades Cove was not closed due to fire. There were 2 small fires burning outside of the Cove, so we read. We didn't even so much as see any smoke from them. Plus, it rained 2 of the last 3 days, so I'm sure that helped. Thanks for watching! Camping video should be up in a few days.

I just don’t understand why people go crazy over canned smoked oysters. You can buy them at just about any grocery store and they’re not real expensive. They’re very common. Why is it that if a restaurant puts them on their salad bar they immediately become GOLD??? They’re just canned smoked oysters! Yes the restaurant uses canned oysters 😢. I think it’s a mental thing.

It may be. To me, they are so bad, I don't know how grocery stores manage to sell them. But to each their own, I guess.
