It's already a proved case of accomplishment that the Oba played a major role in the outcome of the election, otherwise, how come it was the Oba that Oshiomole and co was the person they went to thank and for Oshiomole to go on his knees spoke volumes. I'm glad you ended this video by reminding everyone of us that we are kings and priests and a peculiar breed. About Oshiomole, I don't like him, he talks too much, just like his party APC, he likes to chase clout, but there are times I see value in what he says, like when he spoke about the woes of our economy because of world trade organization membership. kneeling to apologize to the Oba was a show, milking the election verdict that was stolen from the Edo people. By one would be forced to ask, why the trip by the troop to the Oba's palace? Why did the Oba say he was sure that the governor elect would be a good governor who would respect the traditional institution? The Oba only provided the arsenal for Oshiomole to fire. Things like these are very vague to people who are not Edos, especially the Binis and the Esan. Obaseki's grandfather was the first educated man in the whole Edo land, and this man was the administrator of Bini Kingdom when Oba Overamwen was deported to Calabar, a reason that this progressive family is muched aligned by the Royal family and many igborant Binis, who unknown to them, that it was better for an Obaseki to interface between the Binis and the British, than for one Ajayi ot one Usman to be imported to do the job, they felt he wabted the throne for himself, today when you see Overanmwen's picture, he was guarded by Hausa soldiers, but Binis don't see Hausa's as threat, they see a fellow Bini family as the threat. growing up, I know how Oba Erediawa set Nigeria and Edo people back, he advices Gowon not to accept the Aburi Acoord, what could have ended the war and brought Unity back to Nigeria, he almost stopped Ambrose Alli from Building Bendel State University, which is today an asset to both Edo and Delta States, especially after Ogbemudia had built the University of Bini and Agbazika Innih built Auchi polythecnic. He also srtopped Ambrosi Alli from creating 50 local governments in Bendel state, which would have brought development to both Edo and Delta state, he opposed the bye pass for years until Anenih built it as a minister of works and the son , Ewuare has already started interfering with governance and this can only bring retrogressing, I see orher components of Edo state going their seperate ways in the future. Today, Oshiomole is seen as someone talking out of sync, those of us that are Edos, know what he is talking about! the Obaseki family is maligned in Benin, Oshiomole gave them a chance againt the consent of Binis and now that he has helped them to trauncate the elections, he wanted to make a show of it. Remember Oshiomole is an ilitrate and he doesn't know the court protocols, so don't judge him harshly.
