The Part of Super Mario 3D World You Didn't Know Existed

Back when Super Mario 3D World came out in 2013, the year of Luigi was in full force. In order to celebrate, they decided to hide a bunch of "hidden Luigis" all throughout the game. While many of them you've likely seen before, there's a handful of them in the game that you've likely never seen before - Until today.

Worst part is… that wasn’t even every Luigi. Several of the levels have multiple (he’s in the mouths of the fish in the first beach level). And iirc some levels have a CHANCE of him appearing, but it’s not guaranteed. Also, Luigi has a small chance to come out of ANY ? Block when you hit it

A lot of those were almost impossible to see, especially the snowflake Luigi's. This was fun watching the Luigi's steal your sanity. When I come down to Texas in a few months, I'm going to have to hire local artists to paint hidden Luigi's all over town. Or at least say I did and make you start imagining them everywhere. :)

Fairly certain you missed a Luigi in Pipeline Lagoon where you found one next to the Floating Goombas at the beginning. If you get to the clear pipe that goes past the sunken airship fast enough, you’ll be able to see a Luigi travel through the pipe with you

Yo Rays you should do a sequel to this video, because I'm gonna be real, you've only seen about half the Hidden Luigis in this game. I can name about 10 you missed off the top of my head: - If you flip a Banzai Bill around with a Cat Suit or Tanooki, you can see a Luigi stuck to the back of its burner - A few Luigis pop out of the Clear Pipe in the opening cutscene among the other stuff - Sometimes a Luigi will pop out of a ? Block at random, and this is easiest seen when repeatedly hitting a Coin Block (this is also a thing in Bowser's Fury btw) - Everyone knows this one, but on the title screen, there's a Luigi Button you can press on after beating Bowser that lets you play Luigi Bros - In every Sprixie House (the ones where you get free Stamps), a Luigi can be seen peering in from outside before slinking away back into the darkness - In the opening cutscenes for train levels except the Golden Express (before you get launched out of the cannon), you can very barely make out a Luigioutrunning the trail just like the one you saw in that one level - Speaking of train levels, at the very front of each train level (aka just past the pipe you enter to fight the boss) you can see a window shaped like a green L with Luigi in it, as if he's piloting the train. Again, this doesn't apply to the golden L window on the Golden Express. *Also there's a Luigi at the top of every Castle opening cutscene, not just the one in World Bowser - If you hit the gong in Hand-On Hall enough times, a Luigi will randomly drop pretty close to the screen - Sometimes Luigis will just have their head stuck in a Cheep-Cheep's mouth, regardless of the level the dang fish is in. I think this happens at random, but idk - In 1-2, you were right about there being a Luigi in the Clear Pipe with a cannon at the front, you just need to stay in it for about a couple of minutes for the Luigi to appear - This is kinda a Wii U exclusive because the Switch doesn't have the electronic manual gimmick, but if you go into the game's manual (the breen book with the ? on it) you'll see a Luigi at the very bottom of each page, just chilling in plain sight Also, a little bonus: y'know how in the Mario Maker games, when you repeatedly knock on a door in the level editor, Wierd Mario will pop out wearing a random power up relevant to the game style you're using? If you knock on the door in the 3D World style in Mario Maker 2, there's a small chance that everyone's favourite green 8-bit gremlin will make a guest appearance instead. Hope this helps, I'd really love to see you go over these in a later stream or video sometime
