It is interesting that the only 4 existing / living Eldar gods are the beings that represent the 4 chaos powers - remember each has a "postitive" aspect if you can call it that, and they all align perfectly Slaanesh - pleasure, excess, death of the eldar Khaine - War, Murder, Martial Prowess, honour - Khorne Isha - life, healing, growth, fertility "captured" by Nurgle - she is part of nurgle so to speak or vice versa Cegorach - Trickster god, changer of fates, wearer of masks - Tzeentch Some of this has been hinted it, more strongly so in the Old warhammer Old world lore before they redid the lore into more physical literal interpretations more akin to the Greek and Roman mythos. Which I kind of dislike, I felt it was done in a tone deaf awkward manner.

The big 4 are just the most basic negative feelings/beliefs of all sentient races. Khaine is a specific part of the Eldar psyche, molded by their beliefs on war, Khorne on the other hand is the reality of war and violence, not molded by one single species view in the subject, but the very essence of the act itself. Same as the other 3, they are the raw essence of excess, entropy and change without checks, they are indeed chaos.

Well, let's be fair here. There's no "could simply be an A-hole" when it comes to Kaela Mensha Khaine. Big Daddy K _is_ a grade A class A-hole and has always been so. All lore about him specifies that, yes, this god is a complete and utter bastard, even by godly standards, and the Eldar would probably be the first to agree and even point this out. I mean, he did at one point want to murder all Eldar in existence. One tale of why he killed the ancient eldar hero Eldanesh was because he so enjoyed the killing in the War in Heaven and when Eldanesh didn't want to help him kill anymore after the war was over he got all insulted and murdered him. So basically Khaine is a not a nice god, and him accepting someone other than an eldar because they're more bloodthirsty and murderous really is entirely in character.

I have a 40K Theories-theory: Remleis explains his theories in the video from an in-universe perspective, yet ends them with comments and "thanks for watching" indicating that he is well aware that this is a youtube video. This indicates that Remleis transcends universes. Indeed. We do know of one type of entity that is able to do such a thing: The Chaos gods. If Remleis were to be a fifth Chaos god, he would need Sustainance in order to survive and maintain his strength. However, how could he a mere Inquisitor gain the vast number of emotions a chaos god needs to exist. Indeed, this seems especially unlikely since he would have to compete with the other four chaos gods for it. The final possibility is that Remleis utilizes a medium unknown to the other Chaos gods: A net, if you will, that links multiple consciousnesses. If he then was to utilize this internal net or internet to pose questions without a clear answer, he could easily generate vast amounts of curiosity. It appears then, that we are, indeed, a chaos cult.

This whole story has never sat right with me since I first heard about it. Genestealer cults take over human worlds slowly, over the course of several generations which for humans might be... 200 years? Do Aeldari even reproduce that much? I know the genestealers make the person aggressively eager to procreate, but also wouldn't that just stand out like a sore thumb in a craftworld society that dulls their desires and emotions because of, y'know, Slaanesh? And no Farseers saw this coming? Also, I think it was on this channel you talked about how Aeldari procreation is... different... and actually takes like multiple encounters for some reason? There's more and I could go on but I'm ranting. It just feels like this story was conceived around the rule of cool sounding "Genestealers infest a craftworld!" without any thought as to how that really happened.

It is explained somewhat though. In the book they say that they fought off a large demon invasion and then the genestealers offered them a chance to join their souls to the genestealer hive rather than lose them to the warp. The craftworld was presumed lost in deep space before it mysteriously reappeared calling for help, and it was lost before soulstones and infinity circuits were cooked up. So the aeldari in their fear agreed to become a genestealer cult.

theres also the significant issue of how genestealers, that infect and manipulate a victim's genetic structure, managed to infect a giant, flaming statue...... the statue has no genetics to corrupt and even if a genestealer tried to somehow 'fuse' genetically with the statue, said statue sets on fire and has magma for blood, which im gonna guess would not do much good for the flammable genetic material. the whole thing reeks too much of deamon shenanigans, which tyranids are not despite how badly the recent nid lore seems to want them to be. i get that every codex needs traditionally to worf an avatar and blow up a craftworld, but this shit makes zero sense

The bloody hand of the Eldar god is the result of Khaine taking on the aspect of the reaper after its fight with the C'tan Nightbringer. I think its a very good idea for a theory video thats for sure. It makes me think of the backstory i've written for a certain "genestealer" cult of my own. One where notable members of the infested planet regain consciousness of self, and have to work in complete secrecy to kill the Patriarch and bring down the mother ship in orbit that is sending out the signal. After destroying the ship, a large majority of the infected people died from the psychic snap. Those who survived, became the new faction. A tale of losing faith from coming to know the truth, and choosing the path of pain and torment if it means regaining control and sovereignty over your own life and flesh. Basically just describes why i run a "counts as genestealers" army with a low model count. Added in some different unit types to make up for it, they still evolve into new forms, but its now highly varied and based on the re-awakened personality of the individual. I really like the idea of running an army filled with weird looking mutants.

Given how Avatars are warp entities, and warp entities are formed and influenced by thought, most likely is that the mixing of Eldar visualisation of their divinities mixed with the way genestealers impose their image upon the beliefs of their host races, creating a very literal manifestation. As those seers and the infected young king invoked the ritual, the thing that came forth was exactly what they believed it would be. As an example, many human genestealer cults worship altered images of the emperor, and I wouldn't be surprised if cults that infect chaos-worshipping populations have their own genestolen versions of the chaos gods and daemons. Were they to summon such things, the sheer pervasive nature of genestealer infection would likely have an effect as the cult's psychic influence is imposed upon the warp being at it's most vulnerable moment. Now, I'd imagine most daemons would feel that something was super wrong with this summoning and refuse to answer, but all it takes it one reckless, foolish or arrogant enough to try anyway, and bang, daemon genestealer. What would be more interesting to find would be if such infection would only last for the current incarnation, or if it would follow it back to the warp. Would that daemon be permanently altered, trying to spread it's infection across the immaterium? Would such an infection keep broadcasting to the overall swarm, leading it to dive into warp rifts in order to feast upon this endless source of psychic nourishment?

Being a completely new to the 40k universe fan I find myself entirely incapable of understanding nearly every comment I have read here in a sense that it may as well be me attempting to mathematically represent the process of gravity resulting in the moon's orbit of earth when I was in the 3rd grade. There was a book about an abandoned Eldar World where the Avatar of that world was calling out to the ORKS in a nearby system. That Avatar had been so long dormant that it's features had flowed and smoothed and lost all semblance of it being Eldar based. It is arguable that said Avatar would have become Orkoid if the Orks had succeeded and the Warlord had merged with the Avatar. It was implied that if the Orks had reached the Avatar they could and would have awakened it.

Well “Arch” has been caught making outright racist comments on his videos, has openly worked with self described Alt Right Activists like Sargon of Arkaad etc and has a sub channel devoted to right wing politics , it’s way past claims it’s just Ironic sh*t posts or a conspiracy against him. P.S. Meaning they would do stuff like worship the eldar god's like the regular eldar to fit in. We all know the warp god's are created and defined by belief. Dunno sounds to me like a cute thing to put in a book not really trying to rationalize it at the time of writing. I would think the avatar has a greater psychic presence since the hive mind in the cults isn't connected to the main one until a fleet shows up. I thought the unusual psychic signals and the farseers would prevent a cult from forming and completely taking hold of a craft world what with the future peeking and psychically super sensitive eldar.

The Eldar of Zaisuthra did not have soulstones or the Dark Eldar methods way of resisiting Slaanesh. I believe their ship disappeared and was isolated during the early stages of the empire's collapse. In their desperateness they willingly excepted the Genestealer Infestation. I though part the reason the Eldar are a dying race is how difficult it is for them to reproduce. Does genestesler taint increase fertility? Also wouldn't hyper sexual behavior be a huge red flag for Craftworlders?
