The clarity and simplicity if Rupert is just stunning. His ordinary humanity without need for any of the trappings of religion, dogma or traditions is just so appealing. He speaks to me here, now and to my own personal experience, or what I used to think of as mine. Thank you Rupert, you have no idea what a gift you are. 🙏

Inspired this poem, thank you Rupert - Pure consciousness delivers us from our knowing state, into the joy of a brand new day The peace we feel in our restful sleep, soon hijacked by thoughts, slips away It is that peace we want to rediscover that peace to which we want to reconnect in that peace there is a real sense of home-coming receiving sustenance from our source direct That sustenance, the essence of who we are pure love in it’s simplest form The only lack - that of separation without which we can weather any storm That separation just part of the illusion a veil created from experience, thought and belief When united in pure consciousness, the Undistracted welcome that peace with a sigh of relief To reach it we must say goodbye to the drama Goodbye to the judgement, the fear and the doubt Trust in non-duality our own true essence whose infinite wisdom we cannot do without.

Rupert has a beautiful approach to investigation of our sense of self. Yet often in reading his books, the feeling lingers that the "self" to which he is pointing still maintains vestiges of our normal sense of being separate. The final stroke, as he freely admits, is to destroy that sense of separation, and most religions try to do so. The "I" which is eternally watchful may not actually be eternal, though now it most definitely gives that illusion. However this video seems to effectively dispel that illusion once and for all. Pure awareness no doubt feels everlasting, but this will be clear only when that perception is entirely divested of "self". No one owns awareness. Using Rupert's own words, in this realization "awareness and the world change places". There is no "I" that can be enlightened, for "I" is only a word we use to hang on to our sense of self-separation. When the "I" is removed, there is only awareness, and sacred though it seems, no one knows what it ultimately is.

7:07: the 3 stages: 1) I am that to which experiences appear / that with which all experience is known. 2) I am that in which experiences appear / that of which experiences is a play or the activity, so the statement I am that is the culmination of the 2d step but there is still a distinction between I and that albeit we have stated our identity but we're still referring to I and that. 3) In the 3d step, the I and the that collapse and we can no longer conceptualize either the I or the that, which are either the same or not the same.

How can one disconnect this light of awareness from the pain of the body? If one cannot the fear of that pain never allows peace.
@julieplove94024 жыл бұрын
Hi Hellmut true Salvation is knowing there is only God within without all ---Omnipresence. In the Omnipresence of God/Light/Love/Awareness there can be no darkness (disharmony disease disaster destruction etc). You can explore A Course in Miracles which takes you where you believe you are (all in the subconscious) to the experience of God within without all form and formless to true freedom or ask in sincere prayer to point you to your answer. Trust that the answer will come and it will be very obvious. Awareness is Allness not emptiness. Love and Light to us all. ❤🎈

rogers rogers , if Awareness is Allness, as you write, it would include the feeling of pain associated with the aging of the body.

@@hellmutissels Hi Hellmut Awareness as Allness as Only. There is only God only God Is. Pain/darkness is belief in not God the separation something other than God a thought apart from God but only God is. Mr Spira is wonderful in sharing the Reality of the Father/the Formless/Awareness. Once the Father/Reality is known the Son/Form/Thought (ultimately belief) needs to be reconciled to see true Form. I and my Father are One. I this Form and the Formless are One. I of my own self cannot do anything it is the Father within me that does all the work. I am to receive not make my own form/thoughts. You are a mirror of Truth to reflect Gods Perfect Light. Pain as alldarkness is the belief in separation something other than God thus needs to be reconciled. Pain is the prodigal son a thought apart from God ultimately the belief in separation. This is not to condemn but correct. We are not responsible for the error we are only responsible for the correction. In Love and Light. ❤🎈
@julieplove94024 жыл бұрын
Hi Hellmut. In the Omnipresence of God/Light there can be no darkness. Darkness is belief but belief is not Truth. Thus beliefs needs to be released to make way for Truth. This is through forgivness--seeing the false as false (I will forgive this and this will disappear along w the thought that gave rise to them)---or through Silence Itself (www.miracleself.com) to allow the Light to dissolve all darkness. In Love and Light❤🎈

It is your body and mind that wrote this comment. This body that wrote this comment does age and will die at some point. That process has painful moments. Your complex concepts about God will leave your mind very fast should you have to pass a kidney stone. I wish with all my heart you will never have to experience that.
