Please react to a movie called How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies. It's a Thai movie, it centered around a young male who, after received news that his grandma got diagnosed with cancer, decided to take care of his grandma while he himself trying to secure his inheritance from his grandma. This movie is a seriously tear-jerker movie, full of family-themed lessons and, I can dare to say, this movie is a lot better than any family movies that you've ever seen or reacted before.

In the greater franchise yes, he is a villain, but in the storytelling and character development/arc of this particular series he is clearly written as an anti-hero. He is the protagonist of the show, no way around it, and in traditional storytelling the protagonist is the hero, the antagonist the villain. "Anti-hero" is simply a protagonist who is motivated by selfishness whereas a "hero" is motivated by selflessness.

Pengwin has shown that he doesn't have any of these so far and has betrayed everyone who has gotten in the way of his survival. Joel from the Last of us would be a good example of an Anti-hero.

He’s the VILLAIN PROTAGONIST, this has happened multiple times before with as crime movies like Goodfellas and Casino all have VILLAIN PROTAGONIST. Breaking Bad has a villain protagonist with Walter White and Jesse being another villain main character. And Death Note has a villain protagonist with Light Yagami and a HERO antagonist with L and the Japanese police task force trying to stop Kira. That should be obvious. He’s NOT at all “cLeaRlY wRiTtEn aS aN anTi-hErO” lol not even close, that’s nonsense as the whole ever since the first episode he’s an incredibly dangerous villain with a violent temperament who sells drugs and uses people for the sake of his OWN selfish purposes. The protagonist IS the villain and the antagonists ARE the villains also in THIS show. Nothing about what Oz does in this show is morally questionable as he’s just portrayed as pure evil, just like all the other villains in this show. He is NOT a “anti-hero” in ANY way as literally everything he does in this show is villainous and evil in this show, he’s just a VERY fleshed out pure evil complex villain. Just because you’re a villain doesn’t mean you can’t be complex and Oz IS a villain protagonist, that simple. Your definition of an anti-hero is so wrong, it’s bafflingly as you have no idea on what an anti-hero even is. An anti-hero is NOT “motivated by selfishness” AT ALL, lol that’s so wrong, it’s hilarious. A Hero does what they do out of altruism. And anti-hero is a hero character who has questionable motivations on how he does any heroic actions like Wolverine, Deadpool, and the Punisher who all the good guy at the end of the day who try to help and save people for the greater good despite their morally ambiguous methods. The penguin has NO “moral ambiguous methods” AT ALL as he does everything for himself in the most self way, he’s a just a villain who wants glory and a legacy in his name, he doesn’t care about anyone else. An anti-hero is NOT “simply a protagonist” AT ALL in the way that what you say, lol you have no idea on what you’re saying as Redhood is an anti-hero but he’s never the villain himself. Oz is the villain and he’s ALWAYS been the villain. He’s the villain protagonist. That simple. Nothing that which you’re saying is AT ALL true. Just stop!

To me, the order of the shots where he's watching the TV confirms for me that Oz knew exactly what was happening, because there are a couple times that they like, cut between his brothers screaming and him looking out the window and then turning back to the TV, sort of symbolically showing him turning his back on them in their dying moments.

I DISAGREE. When he 1st locked them up, he was teaching them a lesson for (in his mind) making fun of his disability and being jerks. He was angry and thinking they deserved their just deserts all the way home. When he got home he lied to his mom, to save his butt... but he did NOT want to murder them. he probably assumed that: a) The brothers would escape on their own, or get rescued b) He'd go free them later the next day or at night... while it was raining like crazy, he looked out the window, wondering if his brothers were okay and then deluding himself that they'd probably be okay and that it wasn't of much concern and that he'd go free them in the morning. then he'd smile, getting distracted by the Tv and his mom's affection. as the rain kept going and kept getting worse, he looked out at the rain, out of worry and then convinced himself it'd be fine... He did NOT want them to drown, he did not realize that they would, and even when it was raining like crazy, he can't exactly come out and tell his mom the truth that late into it, without getting into trouble, so he just convinced himself that they'd be fine. We have not yet seen the moment that the corpses are discovered, so it's premature to assume that he murdered them on purpose, especially since he didn't show any signs of psychopathy and his actions were motivated out of childish emotions. it was just a tragedy, not pre-meditated murder.

Oz is a villain. He didn’t even try to give his men who just saved his life a heads up as he ran to protect himself. I suspect that Julian has figured that Oz is responsible for the deaths of his brothers and this will be revealed to his mom. His mom hating him for killing the brothers will be worse than her being killed.

Oz, by definition, is a sociopath - "someone with antisocial personality disorder (ASPD), a mental health condition that causes people to disregard rules and social norms, and to have little regard for the feelings or rights of others." I don't think he intended to kill his brothers, but he loved the idea of having Mom to himself, so he just didn't really care that they were gone. It was all about him.

One of the things you guys touched on - that Oz looked different than his brothers, and wondering if they had different dads - goes along with a theory of my own. His brothers were Jack and Benny (obviously named after the classic comedian), yet Oswald - the middle child - doesn't fit into that naming convention. I have to wonder if Jack and Benny had the same dad but Oz did not. My personal belief - Oz did not know he had trapped his brothers. He intended to 'punish' them, but did not intend to kill them. The way he kept looking out the windows made me feel he was expecting them to come home. But he was too scared to let his mother know what he had done (as well as enjoying her undivided attention) before it was too late. [Honestly, I thought on my first viewing that there were going to be two skeletons at the bottom of the ladder after the bomb blast because they had never been found!] Oz told Vic about the night his mother snapped out of her depression, dressed up, and took hi dancing in an earlier episode. He mentioned it was the first time he ever heard live music. My theory is the way Sofia is going to make Oz suffer is to have Francis confirm to him she has known all along that he was responsible for his brothers deaths and that she had secretly hated him his entire adolescence as a result.

Sal was taking heart medication in the scene where he got stabbed at blackgate. He probably forgot to grab it when he escaped. I think kid Oz for sure wanted to kill his brothers. He was looking outside hoping it would keep raining.

Interesting seeing backstory of Oz brother's demise & those scenes with Francis, Sophia & Oz, Sal was incredible! So well written & acted & I never expected Sal to go out like that! (Clancy Brown did a great job in his role) the look on sophia's face when she saw Gia's arm & Oz answered phone shows she didn't expect those outcomes after what she did, the irony the place that took his brother's lives is the same place that saved his life! 😮 how this eps ended is set up for 1 hell of a finale! & I think in heat of the moment Oz wanted to teach his brother's a lesson & make them suffer at first but having his mother's attention/love all to himself, he felt content & cared less about his brothers, when looking out the window at rain. Answer touching Quinn's face & Quinn putting his head on Answer's shoulder & him patting Quinn's head was so cute! Hehe ☺️❤️💚💙

I think Oz didn't intend to kill his brothers when he got after and locked them in the tunnel. But as he enjoyed his mom's undivided attention, he noticed how much rain there was, and he thought about the danger, but decided it wasn't worth ruining his evening with Mom to let her know where they were, and maybe let them be saved.

But all I want in life and the main reason I work hard is to give my mom the life she deserved. I don't care about wealth or success on its own, she's always been my driving force in all I do. Sacrificed so much just so I could have a normal childhood 😢

Many reactors forget that penguin is a villian because he's the lead in this show y'all have sympathy for him and cheer for him to succeed. He didn't give a warning to his own crew when he found that bomb, he lies to everyone even people he's close to, he trapped his own brothers and he had a chance to let them out or tell someone he didn't. He knew what he was doing. He's corrupted Vic and if you dont think he would kill Victor at the drop of a hat then you haven't been paying attention. And Sophia's definitely not scared of Oz, she's always looking wide-eyed like that. Oz brothers are doing what brothers do they tease each other that wasnt the first time rhey went to the tunnels and played that game. The brothers weren't bad kids they treated him like he wasn't handicap. If you had any family members who were that way you'd know they hated being treated differently.

The red light Dr Rush uses is used for a type of therapy, EMDR, and it’s commonly used for people with PTSD. It is used to get into a state where you can go back to suppressed memories easier. In this episode, at the end where we go back to little Oz going out with his mom, they go out to dance at the same place Sofia and dr. Rush took Francis to! So she must have, int therapy, gone back to that place and that’s why they took her there.

In episode 6 I finally realized that he was faking grieving his brothers and it makes sense if we consider the type of person he is, a manipulator. When Vic asked him, he said "city took 'em just like it took your family" and if you ask me, that's a very appropriate and convenient things to say, even Sofia teased us with the line "you say all the right things, don't you?". From the trailers, I spotted that he could've been responsible for the death of his brothers, and the writers definitely played us all. At the end of the day, he is a murderer, drug dealer and even as a kid, he admired a mobster. Sometimes an evil character is a good thing.

How can you think he didn’t know they’d drown?! Of course he did. He was looking at the jar filling up and smiled. He watched the dancer fake shoot down the other dancers and smiled. He was perfectly fine with them not coming back! As for the finale - I think he’ll end up killing his mother once she realises he let his brothers die. I think it’ll be an impulsive reaction like when he killed Alberto. If he does that then it’ll truly remove the last glimpse of humanity he has.

I feel like Oz intentionally did it. How he impulsively reacts to being teased or disrespected is evidence of that. I think he snapped as we've seen him do as an adult. I am like so many others, I DO NOT want a S2. What's the point, let them have one great season. It's just a chance for folks to complain or complain more if they had issues with S1. Let it be and move on. This was about raising interest in Batman. Also, folks the doctor is real, that other show really screwed folks up. She has no connections other than gangs, so otherwise she wouldn't have gotten the info about Gia, he is real. Also, he's actually the character that becomes the 'Scarecrow'.

I don't think it was intentional and Oz thought his brothers would've made it out from the sewer but he did won the prize for his mom's affection, out of jealousy. Either way, Oz did killed his own brothers without intention no matter the debate and this wasn't the first time he reacted impulsively since he killed Alberto Falcone in the first episode. He let his impulsive behavior slip without thinking the strategy until he realized he screwed this up. His thought is always like, "Now, I gotta clean this up and make plan B." However, Oz has always been the selfish one since day one. You're not suppose to root for him because he's always the villain and that's the point of this series.

Even with his mother, he loves her the way an obsessed boyfriend that wants her to have no one else in her life "loves" his girlfriend. He's the worst person I've ever seen as a protagonist. It's not close. He's an irredeemable villain with an irredeemable backstory.

Oz definitely killed Rex in my opinion I noticed when Rex was giving the cash to Oz brother he had on his left hand the same gold watch and bracelet on his right hand that Oz has this entire show now I may be stretching and it’s a coincidence but defo something I noticed.

Oz is the middle change and folks who are or know the middle kids, know, it's just a thing. He only wanted to spend time with his mom and 'hog' all her affection. It's not that he hated his brothers or wanted to take them out, otherwise he wouldn't have remorse or felt he could have done something different. Him looking out of the windows is him contemplating if he should tell his mom, "is it bad", "will it stop raining" and "where are they", that's how I see it, folks will think what they want to justify their feelings of him, just like everything, he is a character villain. As for the Sal, thing ABSOLUTELY, he felt cheated, he wanted a real BOSS fight and that was the point, folks can hate it, but I get why they did that, Oz always felt like he was the real boss and he could easily out play anybody, so he felt cheated that he didn't actually kill Maroni.

It's a Thai movie, it centered around a young male who, after received news that his grandma got diagnosed with cancer, decided to take care of his grandma while he himself trying to secure his inheritance from his grandma. This movie is a seriously tear-jerker movie, full of family-themed lessons and, I can dare to say, this movie is a lot better than any family movies that you've ever seen or reacted before.

I personally think Oz’s did want his mom to himself but he did unintentionally kill his brothers but possibly did not feel bad at all for what happened to them. I could be wrong but that’s what I feel as of right now.

No he looks back at the jar overflowing with water because of the heavy rain and smiles, knowing the sewers will overflow too, then he lies about where they are. He definitely meant to delete his brothers from existence.

I think sometimes you all talk so much that you miss what’s going on, did you hear Oz older brother say,sorry, I’ll be it next time. Plus his older brother was looking out for him telling him to stay away from the gangster. His older brother was a good guy and his little brother was just a basic little brother. OZ was evil! Even as a child. Period! And to think they had different fathers is really going overboard in my opinion, some kids look just like one parent or the other or maybe even another relative and we have never seen his father.
