The Russian Cap shield Black Widow took, is actually a nod to her movie. If you remember, the guy that plays “her dad”, was given Russias version of the Super Soldier Serum and became Red Guardian. So the shield she took was supposed to be meant for her fake dad lol.

The world they take Natasha to at the end was seen in this series of What if? It's the world where Hank Pink killed her and several Avengers AND it ended with LOKI INVADING THE Earth and Nick Fury waking up the Captain, that universe. About Gamora, she was originally going to have her What If this season, but due to the Covid Pandemic it was no longer possible, that's why she is the only one who feels strange putting her in with the others.

The Watcher dropped off Natasha in the universe where Hank Pym killed the avengers, including the Natasha of that universe, from the episode earlier this season. It ended with Loki declaring war on Earth since Hank killed Thor, and Nick Fury finding Steve Rogers to help fight Loki off. I hope we get to see more of that universe in the future.

Felt like when What If released Ep 7 wasn't that well liked but I loved it and happy to see you liked it too. As good as the tragic ones are, this one is just fun. Lots of great cameos, especially from the Thor and GotG stories. And I really like what they did with Loki on this one. The two getting along so well when they didn't grow up conditioned to compede. Puts Odin's parenting once again into perspective. Seeing Captain Marvel be awesome was also great. I like the fight choreos, especially that fast paced hand to hand and we got, some creative use of the hammer, showing their power level with a global battle and a fun bit of Cartoon references. Some meta nods as well. And in the grand scheme of things a good pallete cleanser for what's to come in the last 2 episodes.

Good memory Quinn! Kat Dennings was in Wandavision as Darcy Lewis. Thor had some great lines "I don't know anything about horse gods" 😆 amusing fight scene between Thor & Captain Marvel. "The answer is right there" **Quinn points to Answer** 🤭 good to see Hawkeye & Black Widow featured & seeing watcher break his oath of not getting involved & asking Dr Strange for help. Cool seeing all our Marvel characters for finale, "Guardians of The Multiverse" great name & liked your reactions for "Viva Las Vegas" Line & Quinn's British Curse words impression hehe 🤭 & agree it did kinda have Matrix vibes at 1:00:33. I'm satisfied with that alternative ending of MCU & animation & your reactions to this series have been top notch! 😊💚💙

Comic accurate info - DC sued Fawcett Comics for copyright infringement because Capt. Marvel (1940) was too similar to Superman (1938) (and coincidentally Capt. Marvel was outselling Superman). After a long battle in court Fawcett stopped publishing Capt. Marvel (1953) (mainly because the court fees were killing them). The name lapsed out of copyright and Marvel scooped it up creating their own male Capt. Marvel (Mar-Vell) .(1967). Fawcett licensed their Capt. I just don't understand the critique that because multiple universes exist that things with a lot of gravity happening to characters doesn't have as much of an impact. I feel like if someone you loved like a parent, siblings, best friend, significant other, child, etc, dies, and then in a hypothetical separate universe they didn't, and somehow you get reunited with that alternate version, you may be happy to "see" that loved one again, but at the end of the day that alternate is NOT the person you lost. They don't have the same experiences as the person who's gone although they look the same or have a similar personality. Just like a clone can take someone's place, but they're not really the same as the original. If anything, it's a consolation or the next best option to having the real deal, but they can't truly replace the life and personhood of the one who's gone. An alternate from another universe can never make up or replace "our" Black Widow/Natasha, for example, who sacrificed her life. Same goes for Tony and T'chala who are gone in our universe. Or in the case of Gimora from the last Guardians movie, although she wasn't from a different universe but a different point in time. However, that Gimora can never replace "our" Gimora who Thanos sacrificed to get the soul stone. Even when Peter tried to appeal to her as the woman he loved and lost, she was not her, and we can clearly see that. She felt like a different person, and that's because she was, although she looked the same and had a similar disposition. Ultimately, I don't think it changes or lowers the stakes unless you believe an alternate can replace the original and it will make no difference, which I don't believe. Like it was nice to have some 'form' of Gimora present, but I never saw her and thought she was an adequate "replacement" for our "real" one. She's separate. And that idea plays out in the movie with all the characters who loved "our" Gimora and had to mourn her then working with the alternate and seeing how different she was and that she could never take the other's place. She went her own way after her task was done, she didn't suddenly fall in love with Peter, something that took our Gimora a long time to do, and she didn't drop her people or her new family to join the Guardians as some pseudo Gimora stand-in. She was a new and different person. And that applies to all the people from different universes that may collide later.

There’s a not insignificant and very vocal portion of the fan base that want everyone to hate modern Star Wars as much as they do. I don’t know if you know them, but if you reached out to Eric at blindwave I’m sure he’d give you some spoiler free guidance about what you should watch and when. If Harry Potter is the most wholesome fan base, Star Wars probably has the least wholesome unfortunately. May the force be with you.
