The people around you are not your friends

Just like the title suggests, people think that the people you spend the most time with in school, at work, at parties, watching sports or your drinking buddies (heck even your relatives) are your real friends. They're not, and here's why. Your environment plays a crucial role in how far you'll get in life. A lot of the times, they're gonna be the biggest anchor to your success.

Just when i needed it the most. I went way out of my comfort zone and helped one of my friends with his alcohol addiction (lost much of my time in doing so) , like doing his assignments and stuff. But now that he is sober, he thinks that I'm wasting his time. I've come to realize this at the age of 23 that we are really on our own.
