this show is all about how time repeats itself, the great mushroom war saw the emerging of a great evil (litch) and the gum war saw the emerging of a great evil (golb), great heros finn and jake reincarnated into jeremy (or shermy idk) and beth, but in a wierd way it's about moving on and letting go of an unwanted past, like even when history repeats itself it's completely different, "what happens/happening happened" , really the greatest cartoon to ever be, probably the greatest there will ever be, thank you for making rewatching this series such an amazing journey

As sad as it was seeing the end come, it was nice seeing Sorta Stupid leave a memorable reaction. Kinda doubt it was really a reference, more of a coincidence. That's not the most original line ever anyway, it can easily be a coincidence. They would have had to include that in just slightly more than 4 months of infinity war being released (end of April vs beginning of September). typically production on these kinds of things is a lot longer than that.
