The game is awesome. Virginia literally saved my butt when I was building a home in the ocean. Mutant babies and cannibals attacked and she protected me with the pistol I gave her. We danced to the radio afterwards xD

I really love the little details they added.. Like how the birds circle around the raft in the sky just coz there's a dead body in it or the fact that it gets darker when the suns behind a cloud 😭 it's so beautiful. Thanks for bringing these videos out so quickly :D

The taming process is going well when Virginia starts to dance. Her AI has different stages of behaviour during the taming, later she'll bring you gifts and stuff then she'll become your companion you can dress, undress her and give her weapons. Just don't rush at her. Let her be comfortable with your presence. when she notices you just stop don't even move towards her that'll make her scared.

I think Big-head mode might be a video game reference/Easter egg to very old video games from around 1999-ish era. They had big head cheat code commands. The second spyro game (Ripto's rage) had this and I've heard of other games having it, mostly just for fun and laughs. xD

I really appreciate, that you are doing a solo playthrough of this game too! Despite multiplayer with CJ and Psycho being chaotically funny, majority of it is lacking the conversation, that happens between you and the chat. Comforting hearing you talking more with the viewer ❤

Also you can place markers. The GPS locators you find on the bodies at the points of interest (exclamation marks) on the map go into the orange case in your inventory. You can get them out and cycle through a bunch of different icons, and drop them at locations you want to mark on your map as like a base, camp, hunting spot, etc.

heya Insym, the spawn location is based on when you close the laptop, there are 4(?) spawn locations from which you can choose, so basically you can look out the window and choose where you want to end up at

I've tried that and can't get replicating results. However I was going along the same line of thinking. I think maybe if your right it may need a bit more tweaking. Would be a really cool feature if it worked every time.

@@stanleymunro1500 It ia rather... finicky... when closing the laptop as fast as possible you always end up on that beach directly near a cave, everything beyond that is hard to aim precisely

I love this game so much already! Runs well, mechanics are satisfying, and the graphics are gorgeous! Definitely still has its kinks here and there, like an infinite loot glitch I found or accidentally despawning the npc guy by blowing him up with propane, but stuff like that gives the game some extra charm in my book and gave me some good laughs to boot. Really excited to see Insym play through this game, since I loved his playthroughs of the first game!!

every frame of this game is worth screenshotting and I know I definitely have at least 15 new options for my computer's background since I started playing. thanks for this playthrough, im learning so much valuable info i can use on my own single player world. you're the best insym!! edit: in australia, it's a must do to learn how to swim. you don't need official documentation to go to a pool or something but by the age of five most kids know how to doggy paddle at least and many know how to do freestyle and backstroke because its a very important skill to have on an island lmao

Just found some useful Bugs. If you place the log horizontally and put a stick on it to lift it up bump into it, you can duplicate the wooden logs . The other one is you can zipline the logs(if you have the rope gun) for faster travel.

You can use the gps locator for markers but it’s probably highly recommended to save it because you can give it to virginia when she comes your companion so you can see where she is at

I would LOVE to see a fear mechanic in action. Like if you kill alot of them ( and I mean ALOT ), they start running away from you when they are in a smal group ( 1-3 ) instead of attacking you.

From what I’ve experienced there seems to be 2 different cannibal types, The ones with the masks seem still mostly human, from their skin complexion to their walking style. Then the Full cannibals are the ones that walk on all four and the have the greyed out skin. The Bipedal ones hunt the Full Cannibals, and capture them at they’re base. But I might be wrong

1:25:09 It prints the correct way. That is a resin printer where lights comes from the bottom and solidify the liquid resin on the build platform (the top plate that rises). After the completion of each layer, the build platform goes up a little bit (the layer thickness, e.g. 50 um), and then the next layer starts.

36:10 I don't know if anyone has explained this but... it's not alive. It's a fish, it WILL flop around because of gravity. It's not like a solid brick or anything. It IS dead, it just flops around when you move it because of gravity.

Some sort of randomizer would be perfect for this. Swap where key items spawn, add new possible spawns, and generally just mix it up a little whenever you go through the game.

I think what they’re implying with Kelvin is that he probably suffered some head trauma and is a little bit “simplistic“ now. Bleeding from the ears can indicate a skull fracture and he’s just now deaf which is why you have to write everything

It's based on how long you stay in the helicopter. If you immediately close the computer like I did you'll land in the ocean and crawl up onto the beach.

@@tabithal2977 so, I did some testing, and there is no way it's bases on how long your laptop is on. Actually I could discard this theory right at the beggining, because first thing I did was closing the laptop immediately... and I landed in mountains. So it must be random.

i noticed if you kill a bird and wait a little bit you can keep collecting feathers. found this out by taking out seagulls that all kept landing on the same spot next to me. they also give meat and is one of the fastest ways too i think

You can in fact raise all 4 corner of the tarp tent. You can also only raise one of them and still sleep/save. So you really just need one single stick and a tarp to save.

for me it seems like the game selects a spawn location everytime i launch the game so if i close the game and open the game again, theres a different spawn location edit: i started on normal difficulty and spawned in the snow like 3 times. i closed the game and launched again, then started on hard difficulty and i spawned at the beach.

The building is absolutely sick. The way you interactively cut logs in half for planks, and then chop it down even more to get firewood and smaller logs/planks. I will say getting certain things to snap properly was kinda cancer at first but once I got it down it feels so fluid. But PLEASE developers add fuckin keybinds for hotswapping items. Idk why they thought it was a good idea to remove that even though it was a thing in the first game. It feels sooo unintuitive to have to open the inventory and select something every single time. Edit: Ok holy shit I did not know you could hold "i" to pull up the backpack with all your quickselect items. That is totally something the game needs to tell you because even looking through the keybindings in the options, it doesn't show that.
