Kevin @3:37, just a FYI to you and anyone else interested, you can turn the Hill Start Assist Off in the Settings menu on the radio-> Safety/Assistance (Ref pg 221 and pg 534 in the manual). My Rubicon is a stick and I find it helpful sometimes to have it on when I'm going up an obstacle and I have not enough toes for the pedals. Ha!

Funny we did this trail just today and now I see your video. We did it in the opposite direction. Your river crossing #7 was a little difficult going up but not too bad. I did get my rear diff hung up on rock right at the beginning also but I was being lazy and not paying attention. Very fun trail. Wheeled with your boy Jake this past Tuesday. Great guy.

Being on the trails almost every day of the year is part of the reason that you guys finished KOH. Most of the drivers have day jobs that aren't driving off road. Just having an everyday seat of the pants experience is so invaluable.

At this stage of your KZbin journey the most attractive part is the little tips and tricks you add like the braking/gas pedal on the uphill or when arb lockers are not necessary, what attracts me now are things a new Jeeper like myself could use even though mine is staying stock from the factory. Yes the scenery is great, but be a Jeep teacher to us!

Hey. I live in woronoco Massachusetts. Right on the bottom of tekoa mountain. But it's very well known as rattlesnake mountain. And yes I have seen a couple pretty big rattlesnakes. I've only seen three in my whole life. I'm 55 years old. But the last one I seen. Was stretched out across the path. Sunning. And I walked right up to it before it flinched and I spotted it. Ok enough said. Love you guys. Stay safe. God bless.

Between crossing 8-9 is where my Jeep broke frown on a night run. Had to leave it there overnight and go back the next day and fix my motor mounts. Video of it is on my channel. My jeep has 32s, your 40s... and just the Stepchild in general make easy work of that trail! That “awesome spot” is a blast to swim in. My kids love this trail for that swimming spot... and Toqerville Falls of course. It’s fun seeing your guys around town lately.

Sometimes you just want to chill and enjoy the scenery, and that is a great trail to do just that. I honestly didn’t remember THAT many crossings, but I do remember basically driving in the creek for a stretch. Maybe that counted for a bunch? Maybe I was supposed to be weaving side to side?🤷‍♂️ As usual, great video. Hope to see you @ EJS. Keep living your best lives and Happy Trails! PS, nice shoutout to Trails Offroad; Josh and the gang will appreciate that (I think).

I love that area. We were hiking there last week and my five year old lost her shoes in that mud. It took a minute to find them. That mud is no joke. It's a fun area. If you go up to the radio towers there is some amazing views of Hurricane and towards Pine Valley above I-15.

portable cb radio also works when no phone service, here in colorado I know alot of the off road groups have cb's in their rigs and some monitor the ch 19, I been told police also monitor ch19 and one other but not sure what one it is. Also been told there was once a ch here dedicated for the off road crowed but not sure if that is still a thing. Either way a cb in stalled or a hand held can save you in that type of place. I know one guy who also uses his cb antenna for his off road flag and has the channel he keeps it on sewn into the flag so people will know what channel he can be contacted on if needed. Kinda like the flags RC cars and planes used to let people know what channel the vehicle was on, so no intereferance from another radio. Any way just something to think about or remember.

Turn off hill assist... on a level surface... 1. Engine off and vehicle in PARK (automatic transmission) or NEUTRAL with clutch out (manual transmission) with wheels straight. Apply parking brake on manual transmission vehicle. 2. Start the engine. 3. With the engine running, the brake applied, and the clutch out, rotate the steering wheel 180° counterclockwise from center. 4. Press the ESC OFF switch four times within twenty seconds. 5. Rotate the steering wheel 360° clockwise (180° clockwise from center). 6. Cycle ignition switch OFF then ON. 7. If the sequence was completed properly, the “ESC Activation/Malfunction Indicator Light” will blink several times to confirm HSA is off. Steps 1-7 must be completed within 90 seconds to turn off HSA. Repeat steps 1-7 to re-enable HSA It would be great for you to show a how to video for those that don't know how to do this you'd have a lot more views than I would for sure. Love the videos keep em coming.
