I don’t agree with some of the things Jordan teaches, but this is spot on. The whole goal of opening a call is to get further in the call and the best way to do that is to not sound salesy. Have a friendly but stern tone and try not use typical sales words - for instance instead of saying “how you doing today?” Try just saying “how you doing?” I promise as little of a change that is it makes the world of difference ! Great video .

JB, I run an Automotive call center and for years we have taught the value three major forms of communication. We too, have found that tonalty works like body language when it comes to the phones. However, since body language can dictate the largest percentage of one's message we advise our team to actually pretend that they have the guest right there in front of them. Down to dress, facial expressions, hand gestures, stand up when talking, etc. What's your take on this practice?
@MrGflan5 жыл бұрын
ChristianYounggren that’s a solid strategy. It’s easy to fall into bad habits as human beings. Especially when we get a rough week in sales. Gotta stay engaged and sharp at all times to get solid results.
@ChristianYounggren5 жыл бұрын
I like it. It could be a practice that sets your team apart!
@jacquesmesrine99985 жыл бұрын
That’s exactly what he teaches in his trainings. You develop different body language to produce different tonality when talking on the phone. You figure it out by practicing and then noticing what kind of moves you make when tying to convey different emotions like certainty, mystery or disarming... You’re doing great! By the way, you should definitely get his corporate online training system, it’s a game changer!
