It's amazing how we all know this, but Jordan actually points out the specifics. I've never thought how we judge someone from their first few words. Tonality is so important over the phone. This is a great video and even though i'm watching it 2 years later, it's still right on the money

Actually Leo did extensive training using Jordan's Straight Line Persuasion system. That's why he was so accurate, the lines, the tonality, all of it was directly from Jordan.

I used Leo's speech in my first day in cold-calling sales. Tone for tone (not word for word), but just the same tonality and attitude. Total win.

Thank you so much, this is really what I was looking for. I was really struggling in getting through the intro because I gain momentum as the call goes on and it really hit hard when one of the leads I called told me "I don't like the way you sound", that was a confidence breaker for me, at just the perfect time I found this. Very helpful and informative, thank you.

I don’t agree with some of the things Jordan teaches, but this is spot on. The whole goal of opening a call is to get further in the call and the best way to do that is to not sound salesy. Have a friendly but stern tone and try not use typical sales words - for instance instead of saying “how you doing today?” Try just saying “how you doing?” I promise as little of a change that is it makes the world of difference ! Great video .

JB, I run an Automotive call center and for years we have taught the value three major forms of communication. We too, have found that tonalty works like body language when it comes to the phones. However, since body language can dictate the largest percentage of one's message we advise our team to actually pretend that they have the guest right there in front of them. Down to dress, facial expressions, hand gestures, stand up when talking, etc. What's your take on this practice?
@MrGflan
@MrGflan 5 жыл бұрын
ChristianYounggren that’s a solid strategy. It’s easy to fall into bad habits as human beings. Especially when we get a rough week in sales. Gotta stay engaged and sharp at all times to get solid results.

@jacquesmesrine9998
@jacquesmesrine9998 5 жыл бұрын
That’s exactly what he teaches in his trainings. You develop different body language to produce different tonality when talking on the phone. You figure it out by practicing and then noticing what kind of moves you make when tying to convey different emotions like certainty, mystery or disarming... You’re doing great! By the way, you should definitely get his corporate online training system, it’s a game changer!
