I pray for br Ali, I was in a similar position as himself, with maybe the exception that I also hated my own heritage and my nationality. If you are sincere spend a week contemplating your doubts and write them out. Then try and find the correct answer for each, they won't be put on a plate for you remember. You must ask yourself all the points you make and research. For example why would a just God allow evil to exist? Is religion just a front for controlling a population? Look at the Quran, look at the seerah, look at history. You have an issue, but fear not as watching this video should show you that this journey for self betterment has already begun. I wish anyone in this position all the best, you are not alone, Insha'Allah you will find the truth.

Yasir Qadhi is a very well read, very educated and well respected man. He is by no means a scholar. Referencing him or not referencing him is neither here nor there. Based on his recent error in judgement about the aharoof and about waseela which was criticized by traditional and modern Sunni scholars, I feel we should not take our religion from him. May Allah guide him and all of us to the Truth.

I usually compare my understanding to others and come to a conclusion that maybe they aren’t intelligent enough or just can’t comprehend basic principles. I’ve also realized that some people come off like this but in actuality are closing their mind on purpose to follow their desires. The best answer I’ve found and truly believe is when Allah says he knows us better than we know ourselves. So to those who play stupid they are only fooling themselves and to those that are truly incapable of understanding Allah is the most just and merciful and will test them accordingly on the day of judgment.

I tell you what my problem with Islam is. Allah is called the greatest of deceivers in the Quran. Surah 3:54. For Example: according to the Quran he deceives the people to make them think Jesus Christ died for many centuries. Surah 4:157-158 It's not only the fact that he is called the greatest deceiver, which describes his character as the devil himself, but has not the fore knowledge to know, that he can't undo the lie which he told. Allowing centuries to go by before he starts to counter it through Muhammad. The statement doesn't only cause doubts of Allah being God, but the statement itself is historically inaccurate. Going against Rome, Greece and Judean history. And Eye witnesses accounts. Therefore, due to the fact of Christ's death makes the Quran completely false on that single point alone.
