The PERFECT Summer Zucchini Recipe

Pan Fried Zucchini with Creamy Yogurt-Dill Garlic Sauce! A delightful summer treat that's as delicious as it is simple to make.
Ingredients:
2 small zucchini
1/2 cup thick yogurt (strained or Greek)
1 clove garlic
2 Tbsp fresh dill
Salt and pepper
🌱 Fresh, seasonal zucchini takes center stage with its crispy exterior and juicy and tender texture. The creamy yogurt-dill garlic sauce adds a tangy and herby twist to every bite. This is definitely one of my all-time fave ways to eat zucchini. I hope you love it!

As a step-mom, I make a lot of family-friendly comfort food, as well as a lot of simple, realistic dinners for one (or two).

What's funny to me is that I'm greek so all the recipes you do in Bulgaria are very familiar. Only differnce is we always deep-fry the zucchini and add cucumber and oil to his sauce and call it tzatziki. That's it! Medditeranian veggie-dishes are so plenty here, simple and delicious!

In the Balkans we have so much similar cosine. The big difference are the Romainians that are heavily influenced by the Central European cosine just like the Balkan one. So they have the best of the both worlds. I still prefer the Balkan cosine though (Bulgarian, Greek, Turkish, Serbian).

It looks like it’s very similar! Although slivovitz seems to always be made with plums (slivi). Rakia can be made with plums, grapes, apricots, and I imagine other fruit as well. (Now I have to go find some slivovitz!)

Popular in Greece as well! "Τηγανιτά Κολοκυθάκια με τζατζίκι", Fried Zuccini with Tzatziki, tzatziki being the garlic yogurt sauce 🧄. Don't hesitate to use cucumber 🥒 (cubes) or thin slices instead of (or together with) the dill, and olive oil and vinegar according to taste. The more garlic the better in my opinion :). Also great with friend eggplants 🍆, which is actually my favourite! Enjoy!
