For this one, personally, I would do a Clown Fish pair, Shrimp n' Goby, anemone, soft corals, a zoa or two, and a birds nest if your feeling risky. Little tank, lotta punch!

Can't wait to see what combos are possible, I'm still new to fresh water fish keeping but my dream is to become well versed enough and experienced enough to care for and maintain a salt water aquarium! Hopefully in a couple more years I'll get on it!

You don't have to be an expert in freshwater to start saltwater as there is much difference. I started with salt cause I like the corals and would lose interest in a freshwater tank really soon. Not saying experience counts for nothing. But if you want to do saltwater just take it slow and do it 😉

They're difficult creatures to keep and unfortunately don't live long, but very very rewarding!

yep you can, but you HAVE to make sure the tank is almost airtight, because if their beak can fit through a crack, they will disappear... we kept octopi in the lab and they are total escape artists, escaping from tanks we thought would be impossible to get out of. it was very sad to come into the lab on a Monday morning, and find a dead dried up octopus us on the floor on the opposite side of the room... the flipside to that, was coming in in the morning, and finding the octopus alive, but in a different aquarium! they could SEE crabs in a different aquarium and they would egress their tank and find an aquarium that had a tasty snack for them...
