Hey Man, I just saw this and I LOVE it. I'm the man from Kentucky that just called you. And I have a 160 acres I need to clear. I just had all the big trees Logged and this looks like the best thing I ever seen. I will be buying one from you all real soon. Thanks.

Rome K/G clearing blades are the best and have been around for more than 60 years. With Rome Blades you can get to the root of the problem not just slice the top off and next year have all shoots growing up again.

Looks like it works...but what's the point? If you are clearing land the stump is still in the ground. You can't plow that..or build on it... but I guess you can make a road without stumps sticking up...til they rot out leaving pot holes.
@johndowe7003
@johndowe7003 5 жыл бұрын
Honestly it doesn't leave stumps tall, they're flush with the ground. Usually you knock down all the trees/brush with the blade then you root plow it afterwards. It's just a different way of doing things

That dozer has a ripper. Rip the tree roots then push the the tree an stump out of the ground. Cutting the tree is fine but you still half to dig the stump out .

Eddie Mason Very true. But we all know dealing with stumps is a pain. If you dont HAVE to dig the stump out, heck, leave it. And this does seem pretty quick. Probably pretty limited use but its a good tool if ya need it.

Why
@markk3652
@markk3652 5 жыл бұрын
@@steverivinius5686 the stump and more importantly, the root system, binds the soil in the surrounding area around where the tree was. When removed, the earth is loosened by the act of removal, usually creates a void from rootball removal, and makes the soil more susceptible to both wind and water erosion.

Hi, Folks. NOT the way I would choose to do it. It leaves the stump in the ground with ZERO leverage to get it out and there is little to NO control over where the falling tree will fall once it is cut - - - INCLUDING the strong possibility of having it fall back over the machine - AND the operator. Thanks all the same but I think I'll stick to using a dozer with a ripper and/or a tree pusher bar or a track front end loader with a ripper. Just my 0.02. You all have a wonderful, SAFE day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

So instead of using the dozer to push the tree out with the roots in one shot we can cut it down with the dozer then go back and try to pry the stumps and roots out. Obviously not a good solution if you need stumps removed
@TheBrushcutter
@TheBrushcutter 3 жыл бұрын
If the stumps have to go they wouldn't use this. An excavator would be the best method for removing the tree and stump. The area he's in looks to be pasture land. He is probably just getting the trees out of the way, this method leaves the stumps low enough that they can be mowed over and not tear up a mower. The issue then is filling stump holes repeatedly because stumps don't rot away all at once. And hitting a stump with a mower is one thing, running a tractor off into a huge hole while telling yourself "I know there is a huge frickin hole around here somewhere" becomes a whole different thing. Or there's also the whole calling the sheriff to report that someone stole 5 of your cows, only to have the deputies show up and find them all in big ass holes where the stumps used to be kind of situation. 😱😒😒🤣🤣🤣
