saddest movie where no main characters die but also the most heartwarming movie that is also heartbreaking - weird mix of emotions but all of them hit home.

a movie where the outcast main character joins a group of people who are equally as messed up as he is in different ways. This movie was heavy on emotional. This is one of my top 5 favorite movies

Interesting thing about this film. It’s based off a much beloved book and the author wrote the screenplay for the film AND directed the film! Don’t see that often.

Probably why it was as amazing of a film as it was

I identify with this film a bit, don't want to say exactly why. But it's true how the reveal about Aunt Helen's abuse triggers a reevaluation of the entire film. Maybe I like to punish myself, but I have rewatched this quite a few times. There are adorable and very humorous moments that make a good effort to counter the darker subject matter.

Sometimes it’s easier to process emotions through someone else’s experiences/story. If that’s where you are at with processing, that’s okay.

Melanie Lynskey was in 2 1/2 men. She's a really good actress, we deserve to see her in more.

The car scene was beautiful but did give me hereditary flashbacks. This is one of my favorite movies.

Great movie. Take into consideration that this takes place in the 90s.

I approve of this film but can never revisit it lol call me weak idc. Not the type of film I wanna rewatch but it is good. Did it expect to see this in the channel, I respect Macram branching out a bit. Shows his love for films in general not just a small circle of genres.

i hate every major character in this, kinda makes it hard to empathize, so needless to say the movie fell flat for me, because i was checked out half an hour before the big reveal at the very least.
