+Dorothy Stephens I was raised in a fundie family in Canada and had to go through this type of nonsense twice on Sunday, and several services during the week. It was madness. I am old now and the church in that little town now sits empty as do many others in those small communities. I can see it dying out, and it is a great relief to me. For example, look at all the old folk in his audience.

+Luminya M you're right, i should have qualified that i live in a large city. Only about an hour from me though, outside the city, is our provincial 'bible belt', where there still are fundie churches. I don't know if they have preachers like this, though. But they do still have young people, and they still try to teach creationism, restrict reproductive choice, and bully gays. Finding out about that is, in large part, responsible for me joining our local group of non-believers. The fight isn't yet over.
