I said the same thing somewhere else but I’ve been corrected that’s wrong and was only fan speculation regarding Annie and Levi looks were based on HxH. I tried looking it up and yeah there’s no concrete proof. Except there was with Levi’s case, he was based on Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho who is also the creator of HxH, and incidentally that’s where Feitan was also based off. For the others it’s just speculation iirc

Hisoka's personality test is good for guessing people's nen type. And nen types directly influence the user's Hatsu, which is what the power does. Remember that Hatsu is basically just the expression and unique power that the user comes up with. Heres a little non-spoilery breakdown to help out. Enhancers dont really use Hatsu like the other types, they just focus on supercharging their physicality with Ren. This makes them stronger, faster, and more durable than others on their level, but they tend to prefer brute force because it comes easily to them. Emitters use Hatsu to literally shoot their nen at people, 'emitting' their aura away from their bodies. Havent seen one yet. Transmuters use Hatsu turn their aura into stuff, we know this from Hisoka (and possibly Machi i cant remember). Conjurers use Hatsu to create things, Kurapika and Kastro did it. Manipulators use Hatsu to move and otherwise manipulate objects and creatures. Kastro had to use this to actively control his double. Baise obviously does this to people she kisses. Specialists use their Hatsu to do something unique that isnt quite covered by one of the others. Neon in this episode can use her Hatsu to sort of predict the future and write down fortunes for other people, which her father leverages to gain prestige in the underworld.

you didnt negate my point tho. yes it matters on deciding on the strongest (your point), but it doesnt on who-would-win-in-a-fight (my point). even chrollo said this when SPOILER.. SPOILER he tells the team that Uvogin can hold his own in a fight, but these two types (conjurer and manipulator) would give Uvogin the most trouble and have the highest chance of killing him in a one-on-one fight: It's common practice for Conjurers to give special abilities and properties to their creations, and some of those special abilities and properties could cancel Uvogin's strength out all in all, dont expect powerscaling/dbz/naruto tropes where you only need more power/chakra to win a fight

Classical 90s battle shonen, so Ange is already gonna love it and I'm sure so will Carlie, but it's one with slightly more story/symbolism than your typical 90s battle shonen. I repeat this recommendation because in 7:37, there is actually an easter egg from Yu Yu Hakusho (which was created by Togashi, the same guy who created HxH, before HxH) Fun Fact 2: Togashi is married to the woman who created Sailor Moon. Fun Fact 3: Togashi is THE GOAT. He's also known as the novel author within mangaka because of how intricate and well thought out just about everything is.

Chrollo had to take 1 whole entire year just to make a plan to beat hisoka. Hisoka already proved Machi CANNOT beat him, he’s smarter & physically stronger. it’s like they’re strong but they don’t compare to actual strong characters we’ve seen. & the only reason why they’re feared in the world of Hxh is because of their mission who chrollo runs, he’s a genius that can make efficient attacks plans to not only make sure his members don’t get hurt, but make sure their mission is 100% successful & stays secret.
