I actually find this to be a good song after every A's win. There are songs about San Francisco, New York, or Kansas City that are always played after their team wins so why can't Oakland have their own original song. Cited by an A's fan.

Phillip Hall I agree. I like the song. Celebration is kind go generic and played out. I just wish this was the theme song years ago. So everyone would accept it and know the words by now lol

I LOVE it. This is just as hokey as the song for my town, Ashland, Virginia, The Center of the Universe. "Ashland, Ashland, Center of the Universe, …Where you get more for your money than you pay in your tax, and the best people live on both sides of the track….." I'm all for this being the new victory song, because reasons: 1. Yes, Oakland has used it since Rickey Henderson was 22, circa 1981...Or was it 1891? But the f#!@ing Angels have taken to using it as the song they play after a W. 2. It's fun, quirky, literally has Oakland in the title and song and the Angels use Celebration as their victory song too. 3. And lastly, THE GDMF'n California Angles of Anaheim/Los Angeles California play Celebration commencing wins. Yes, it's new and change sucks...sometimes...people also used to treat headaches and STDs with f!#@ing mercury. So, maybe it's time to start a new tradition. Maybe it's time to stop dunking our junk in liquid metal, besides, if the Angels steal this victory song, they'll look like crap flingers instead of rally monkeys.

Please tell the A's to stop playing this in replacement of Kool & The Gang's "Celebration". Seriously. You will end up as the most hated band in Oakland if this continues, and it's a short list.

Pretty embarrassing. Celebration is classic, replacing that is one thing, but this song is cheese ball and doesn't represent myself or the community properly. Gotta be a good song that can be used. Yuck.

Not complaining about change, complaining about changing to garbage and accepting it as if it's ok. Not as an A's fan, as an Oaklander. Marketers are FOOLS for using that trash when there are millions upon millions of options released each calendar year. Poor poor choice, and very poor shallow minded view by you. This song does not represent Oakland or the people thereof. It's an apologetic tub thumping round song. Trash. Yes, get it the hell out.
