I have studied in Philippines about 7 years. 7 years of studying in the Philippines, I have felt that the DEPED should give more an effort on teaching Math & Science subject to highschool students. I believe the quality of education in terms of math and science is far below the average when compared to other countries.

Hello, guys! Some tips for the NCE: 1. Time management. Lalo na sa Math and Science parts. 2. Read a lot for the English portion. 3. Sa abstract, kahit i-flip-flip mo yung booklet para magets mo yung pattern. Or try to sketch it on a scrap paper para mas-mavisualize mo. 4. Kapag feel mo lacking ka sa isang subject, galingan mo na lang on the next. Kaya niyo ‘yan, guys, whoo!!

​​​@@mikustanreal4339 I go to a Regional science school and, I thought I failed but 3 years later, I'm still a student here lol. All I can suggest is to just try out, and see what happens. If it's not what you hoped for, it'll turn out fine. I know some people who failed rshs exam but they're a lot happy at their current schools, even if it wasn't what they dreamed of.

I love PISAY. Some of my wife’s students passed and studied in PISAY Tugbok Mintal campus. The sad truth lang is yung mga products ng school na to ay nagtrtrabaho abroad. We have a lot of brilliant students here, kaso san sila after they graduate college? Look, why are Korean & Japanese tech brands flourishing? Kasi lahat ng mga products nila designers, IT, and engineers nila were empowered and nabibigyan talaga ng magandang opportunities sa bansa nila. Sana ang Pilipinas rin 😢

I hoped PSHS System and all of its heads thought well on where to establish the Zamboanga Peninsula Region Campus to really cater students not just from Zamboanga Peninsula but also from Sulu Archipelago. Dipolog City is too far from Sulu Archipelago provinces and even from the heart of Zamboanga City. They should have chosen Zamboanga City, Isabela City, or Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay as their campus location, for the cities of Zamboanga and Isabela are geographically located at the center of Western Mindanao area so children from Sulu Archipelago would have an easy access and travel time when they need to go home for summer vacation after an academic year and it wouldn't be too far for them. As well as the languages and culture of Isabela City and Zamboanga City are easy to adapt with for Muslim ethnics because there is a significant population of Muslim settlers, Tausug speakers, Yakan communities, and Sama-Badjao communities in both cities, and Visayan students from the provinces of Zamboanga Penisnula Region can also adapt with the City of Isabela and the City of Zamboanga because there is also a signficant Visayan population and Cebuano or Bisaya-speakers in these cities. Isabela City and Zamboanga City though are dominantly or significantly with Zamboangueño, Tausug, Yakan, and Visayn ethnics, are also considered cultural, linguistic, and religious melting pots of the Western Mindanao area where almost all ethnics from the area live and are allowed to celebrate their culture as well as to use their languages even though Chavacano, Filipino, English, Visayan, and Tausug are the common lingua francas. On the other hand, the municipality of Ipil is more or less the geographic center of Zamboanga Peninsula Region or Region 9 excluding Sulu Archipelago provinces.

The short answer is yes. From central mindanao campus ako which is near sa marawi city. Pero marami akong kakilala na from davao, caraga, at maguindanao pa. If you really want to study sa pisay, you really need to move. No worries, may dorm naman sa loob ng campuses.

A student from Zamboanga City who either speaks Chavacano (a Spanish-based creole language) or Bahasa Sug (the Tausug's language) may have trouble communicating with students from the rest of the Zamboanga Peninsula region who are mostly Cebuano or Bisaya speakers especially using the national language. I knew that Bisaya speakers are mostly fluent in their native language and English only than being fluent with Filipino or Tagalog, while students from Zamboanga City, due to the cultural mixture of the city, are fluent in their native language, English, and also Filipino. Chavacano speakers and Tausug speakers speak Filipino with each other in Zamboanga city, while those in the provinces of ZamPen are speaking Cebuano with each other than in Filipino. I also hoped that Zamboanga peninsula campus of Pisay will be in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay as it is the center of Zamboanga peninsula Region and closer to Zamboanga City and Isabela City which are also part of Zamboanga Peninsula Region. Sadly, it is now in Dipolog City which is so far from both Zamboanga City and Isabela City and even from Zamboanga Sibugay province. :(

Pisay is not accommodating incoming senior highschool students. In order to graduate in Pisay, you have to stay/study for at least 4 years there. Pisay only accommodates incoming grade 7, grade 8 and grade 9 students.
