Roman, thank you so much for the videos with the other photographer! Recently I've started taking photography seriously as a part of my professional medium, and learning about many incredibly professional photographers with their unique styles and work in general helps me understand what I want my pictures to look like. It inspires me to pursue this yet new path and I'm so grateful for all the work that you are doing! Greetings, and a bunch of thanks from Ukraine!

Cheers Roman, it’s Sean in Atlanta! I like this new direction you are taking and I think Jordan is a very cool dude! I really like his images, especially the ladies in the rice fields with the conical hats! And it would never have crossed my mind that some of these may have been “staged“ or directed by him. Your comment that you may take some of his ideas and use them for your own photography is a Capital idea! After all, that is the highest form of compliment! Once again, Roman, you’ve delivered a first class video, and I want you to know how much I am enjoying this new direction of yours! You should get back up to London and freeze with the rest of your compadres there! It’s actually going down to 11°F here in Atlanta for a few days which is highly uncommon… Sean

Great video! In regards to the issue about staging photos and their still being art: I was surprised to learn while viewing the Elliott Erwitt exhibit in Paris last fall, that he set up many of the classic photos for which he is known. The dogs he photographed were trained animals. The photo of the boy on the back of the bicycle with the baguette was taken several times to assure that the subjects were in focus and that the shot was interesting. There were a number of others that do not lose their artistic value by being staged, but I do have a different perspective on them realizing that they are not spontaneous street photography.

I watched Preet first then this video Roman both excellent I'm killing some time this morning been up for hours its only 07.47 now really enjoying the videos they make you think out the box which we all can learn from Jord makes it look easy but we know it really is not i take my hat off to him I used to use only zooms but now I'm only using primes the more compact the better.......

2015/2016/2017 was a golden year to start photography on Instagram. Most of travel photographers who were uploading photos around that time probably make a full time job doing that now a days. It’s highly competitive now

I'm extra grateful for this video since it made me think about the travel photography in general. Photos of Jord are amazing, no doubt about it, there is just one thing I could notice and it made me feel uncomfy. I could see photos from these places before from another travel photographer. In my mind the travel photography is about freedom and discovering new and unusual, not about going to photogenic place and take pictures which has been taken by others many times already. These photogenic places exists partly just for the sake of being photogenic. Is it good or bad? I don't know, but maybe they way how Roman is making photos will show the reality of the place better.

A long time ago in 2017/18 (I doubt Jord remembers) I used to live in Italy, and at the time I was getting this super secret and hard to get to shot in the mountains of Slovenia and Jordan happened to be following right behind me and told him how I got to the spot. My only passing with him haha

Am i the only one that thinks he is not really answering the hard questions? Or that he feels awkard and maybe anxious? (by the way he always looks away and his energy) Amazing photos someone said in the commenets breathtaking and i agree. You have to believe in God and miracles though to think they are not planned. I don't want to say staged because it has a negative feeling. Take as an example the way he took the shot on the escavator. That is his process i beleive. Is it good ? Is it bad? Does that process takes the wow factor from his photographs? Everyone will have a diff opinion. :) Have a great day everyone.
