I had the privilege of sitting in the Aptera this morning. Awesome! Steve Fambro went along the entire line (circle) of people greeting and thanking everyone for coming. Fantastic future tech. Amazing people.

Good to see that Chris said the price of the LE edition is $40K. I was expecting like $50K. Plus the Base version is $28K and the one all decked out is $61,700. I was expecting $35K for the base and over $70K for the decked out one. Good to see Aptera keeping it cheap for everyone and not making it overly expensive like all Teslas are.

@@freepower1082 - Also, there is the $7500 discount on the Aptera. Just look on the site and they show you how to get it. When you price out the vehicle of choice, then click on the "i" next to it, you'll see how you get that discount. So, the $28K version actually costs you $20,500.

Yeah, the output is for a sunny day in California, but if 25+ miles is the standard for a sunny day in January then summertime should be even greater. The seasonal variation may not even be that much.

@@freepower1082 Yeah, the news so far seems good. The numbers will definitely be a lot worse in cold Northern climates but even there, I think the solar panels technology will do better than expected. Or at least that's what I hope. It means good things for bigger cars.

The performance of the solar charging and batteries, and efficiency of the vehicle is what I am super happy to hear about. Those three things together are what sets this vehicle apart from all other vehicles. At this point, this iteration of this aptera company has exceeded that of the first iteration of the company. Outstanding!!!

I am excited about the PI arrival at CES. Wish I was there. The rides are not In the PI vehicle, they are in the Track Vehicle. It has no wheel covers, full solar, or interior. Still looks great. They said the cant open the hood or the wheel pants. They are not complete.

I don’t see any dashboard solar-panel? Only hood, roof and hatch.

From 3:53 to 3:57 you can clearly see how reflective the dash is because it is solar.

This demo has me a little worried. I didn't realize they were so far away from being production ready. I was hoping to hear that deliveries were starting soon. Now we hear that the first few might make it at the end of 2025 if we're lucky. So those of us who aren't content creators or friends and family and not in California... I might be looking at 2027, so that's pretty disappointing.

I am waiting for Aptera to visit Sono and Fisker It's gunna fail because it's too strange for anyone other than some collectors and early adopters, the long range will not overcome that
