State-of-the-art hospitals, miracle drugs, and doctors who actually listen to you? It’s basically Avengers: Endgame but with stethoscopes. So, these shows become a sort of double-edged entertainment. On one hand, they’re relatable because, yes, bodies are fragile and everyone’s scared of hospitals. On the other, they’re escapism, like watching superheroes. Only here, the superheroes are doctors, saving lives with infinite resources, impeccable timing, and a level of insurance coverage that’s straight out of science fiction.
