These OCs need to be held more accountable. You can tell what half these teams are doing before it even happens. Shanahan puts Purdy in such low risk situations it’s art in motion. Mike Tomlin is the biggest problem on the steelers. He hired Canada and brought him back. He got outcoached by a new HC with a rookie QB and a backup offensive line. There's no defending how terrible his coaching truly is and this loss proves that once again. Dude has 3 playoff wins in 12 seasons. Mike Tomlin hasn’t won a playoff game in 6 years and this will be year 7 but you’re not allowed to say that for obvious reasons, that’s the real problem. He should have been fired because he’s mediocre just like Jeff Fisher but he keeps getting a pass. He had prime Ben Roethlisberger prime, Antonio, Brown, and prime Lavon bell and couldn’t win a playoff game but these media platforms like ESPN are willingly ignoring that.

People keep saying the O-line needs fixing. Go watch what the Texans did, with 3 backup O-linemen. One of them, a player we discarded. They ran the ball, ran play-action, screen, and got the ball out of their QB's hand fast. I said it after week 1 and have been saying it every week since. The Steelers need to play ball like the Cardinals did against the Cowboys, or like the Texans did. Pickett was elevated too quickly, and now this is his offense. Sometimes people forget, that Ben in his first 2 years was averaging less than 200 yards a game. In his second year, we went to the Super Bowl. Last year, I said it was time for Mike Tomlin to go, and it is time. All season, I keep seeing former Steelers having success at their new stops. We have not been a Superbowl-contending team since our last Superbowl appearance. We wasted opportunities when we had Ben, Bell, and Brown, and now we will end up wasting TJ, Highsmight, and Minka in their prime. Fire Tomlin after this season and bring in someone who can motivate, but also scheme an offense, or defense.

@@nickpillow5692 Three playoff wins in thirteen YEARS, two of those in one season and even one of those wins was because Vontaze Burfict imploded late in a game giving the Steelers a FG to win as time expired. All of that was w. a HOF QB, the best WR in the league, a top 5 RB and a good/great defense every year. He's lost playoff games to Tebow, David Gerrard, Blake freaking Bortles and Baker Mayfield. The Rooneys are super woke so they don't care and are happy just to have coach that is black. Winning is secondary. This is Tomlin's first HC job. Before that he had one year as a DC in Minnesota. I followed Kenny Pickett in his time Pitt and was happy to see the Steelers draft him and really wanted him to succeed but this point it doesn't look like he has what it takes to be a championship caliber quarterback. In 4 games CJ Stroud looks head above heels better than Kenny who has been playing for much more games than CJ Stroud. I don't want to see him benched but I do want the Steelers to draft another quarterback this upcoming NFL draft to compete against in 2024 because I don't think the Steelers should wait another year to see what he has knowing this is what it is for Kenny Pickett. We should know what the Steelers have in Kenny Pickett by the end of the season.
