Pretty sure most people know these are just theories and that they're probably not planned by the studio. Pixar is composed of a lot of different directors and artists who work on separate projects, I doubt they all adapted their stories just so that they could make some megastory that barely anyone will notice.

When they scream "2319!" in Monsters Inc., that may not be a warning that a contaminated object is present, it may mean there is a foreign object out of time. As in, when that sock was taken through the door, it could be disrupting the timeline. We don't exactly know what the explosive cover plate the CDA put over it really is. It may be a device to send objects back, not destroy them.

7:20 I got something to think about when boo was in monsters inc. towards the end sully is holding a bear doll in a lot of scenes, and boo(the witch) carves bears and when your old your memory gets clouded so it would actually make since for the witch to make bear carvings since it's the last thing sully gave to her before reappearing again at the very end.

As seen in the english version of monsters.inc Boo calls Sully kitty. in the dutch version however she calls him *beertje* which means bear, or little bear. DUN DUUN DUUUUN So...i really like the pixar theory but obviously they probably didn't intend this, it's still a funny coinsedence though. I edited this comment because when i wrote this i was maybe 11 or 12 and my grammar was cringe worthy. ~•☆°Have a nice day°☆•~

XP Sorry if I seem to be nit-picking over something so tiny bu~t it does play a role in this argument (in favor of) that a non-speaker wouldn't see due to not knowing that the 'tje' and 'je' at the end of some words (in this case 'beer' = bear and 'tje' the modifier) indicates it being little (in size or age), so I thought it should be mentioned because, as you said, it does strongly suggest that if you take all the things mentioned in the Pixar Theory into account.

My theory is that the pixar people just put Easter eggs in for fun, then got lazy and put in things from other movies so they didn't have to spend extra time making something new, then realized how one could think it's all in the same timeline and just continued to build upon it.

OMG THE SOURCE FOR TIME TRAVELING IS WOOD! AND THE DOORS FROM MONSTERS INC ARE MADE OF WOOD!!! I MAKES PERFECT SENSE!! (Well okay apart from the one but I have a little theory for that: After the events of Monsters University, people realized the wooden doors could be used from either side if enough energy was provided. So to ensure that banished monsters couldn't come back, they build a special door that needed more energy but couldn't be used from the other side because it wasn't made of wood.)

Hey Brothers, I decided to have some fun and rewatch some of these OG Pixar Theory episodes and thought of something, what are the monsters doing in the alternative time line during the time that the humans are no longer on earth? They must be loosing a ton of energy, they cant harvest human emotions so how are they powering their world? Do monsters go extinct during this time period? What if Boo is trying to help save their world for them?

In Monster Inc Henry J. Waternoose (spider guy) says that kids don't get scared like they use to and that's why they were having problems with power. Couldn't they go to a different time where kids were more scared then? If they were going into the past using time travel that is.

It could also be that it takes more energy to travel further back in time and they have slowly been exhausting all of the "fear" from each time they travel back to. We know there is an energy crisis so they would need to make sure that they were not spending more energy going back to retrieve it than they were actually collecting while they were there. If Waternoose is aware of this it would also explain why he is so determined to kidnap children and suck the screams out of them as it would require 0 energy from the monster world and give them a nearly unlimited supply of scream.. at the cost of torturing children that is.

TrickyTrickyFox That's so true. The banishment door is a one way portal. There's no way to come back through it which is why they have to find a wooden door in use in the village. If the banishment door were two way, they could have tried forcing it open with human screams like in Monsters U when they're stuck at the camp (of course, this would require kidnapping, but that wouldn't expose them as much as running through an entire village looking for a kid's closet door).

Do you Belive or have you ever think that PIXAR sooner or later they would make a movie about BOO Lifes how she started as a baby seen sully and the monster Inc world and how she goes trough her years and her life searching a way to go back to sully worlds, and how she becames opses to find a way, so then she found or inveted magic and the movies becames more of how she goes trough all the world time traveling trough the different pixars movies getting and gathering information about times traveling just finding a way of how to go back to sully worlds and as the article I read said that monsters need it a lot of energy to be hable to travel trough doors into the past and only they where hable to go back in the past as far as the practice and they still return with a profit of energy "monsters seem to worry about kids "being less scared these days." It's likely that going in the past takes a lot of energy, so the monsters can only go back as far as the practice still returns a profit in energy."(the Pixar theory), don't you believe that BOO will go and travel in time to find a way to get the enough amount of energy(magic) to time travel to the future to the Monster Inc world, and searching trough the past and future she find a book about dark ages meaning the time Brave is set to be the last frontier BOO desides to travel in time, this movie about BOO life's would have to be set in all the pixars movies worlds, and moving forward talking about the Easter eggs that you told us in the last ast video THE PIXAR THEORY, you remember the junior ball the BOO give to sully on the movie, this ball actually is in almost all the movies therefore the ball is the only object that is show in all the movies and I believe that the ball is the Easter egg that BOO is putting in all the TIMES she had travel trough because maybe she have though that maybe one day sully might travel trough one door and see the ball and boo plan is to make sully find a way to her meaning BOO wants to make Sully remember her and look for her, well this is my believe that Pixar sooner or later they would became with this marbles MOVIE about BOO LIFES and how she adventures to find a way to see her good friend sully. About the last point, in the dutch version of monsters inc., boo actually calls Sully a bear instead of a cat. And I think that she probably calls him a bear in more than only the dutch language, so if the witch was obsessed with cats, that wouln't make sense to other people, and as he kinda resembles a bear, that probably is the reason they chose for the witch to be obsessed with bears.

That occurred to me as well - if the people in Up planted the tree we see in ABL why aren't they still there? My thought is that they may have planted the tree immediately upon returning to Earth and while it ended up growing they may have decided that there were better locations to restart society - like near a body of water or something and moved away from where they originally landed.

It's just that the humans had fat by body fattening that the a1 that came out in 13 or a113 ;) tried to fatten them up. also in the credit's (which you got the picture from so I will draw a bit more from that because i understand you are allowing that sort of thing.) It show's kids playing by the water.So I guess they could have moved because some of the characters in the movie moved but it caused them great pain. It is also very hard to get rid of fat especially if you've been fatting (that's a real word?) your whole life. I guess you could think of them breeding to get more fit people to come but they have been fat for generations it would probably be put in your dna sooooo yah.

Ok, maybe you need wood from that time period in order to use that door (like once the wood is destroyed by that machine in Monster's Inc, you need wood from that door and only that door in order to go back), so I think the tree is what really pulls it all together. Here's my theory- the tree travels through time, and exists in different time periods. For example, the tree may be from the early 2000s (like that's where the wood "exists"/ where its from), but lives hundreds of years in the future. So maybe a monster found the tree and made a door and when they opened that door it took them to the early 2000s. Then maybe Boo finds the same tree in her lifetime, but this time the wood from the tree is from medieval scotland and that's why she's there and not in Sully/the monster's time, because the tree is random. So back to the monsters- the monsters find this tree and go to the 2000s or whenever and realize that they need wood from that time, so they take wood and build doors and come back through the original door and use those doors they made to get the energy from kids. That would mean that only the monsters (and now Boo) really know how to use the tree, because anyone who cut down or used the tree from before wouldn't have made a door, so that's why we don't see a bunch of medieval Scotts popping up in Wall-E's time.

Tybecausepickles backstory: The orange furry monster who had a sock on his back in Monsters Inc. had to have the fur that came into contact with the sock removed and destroyed for hygeine. When Monsters Inc. turned good, the fur was instead made into a toy to give to a child - one of the Carlin brothers' younger selves.

Toddlers do this thing where they use info as a catchall. the catchalls are building blocks and eventually they branch out. much like an outline or thought tree. A couple of my nephews and a niece called everything furry a kitty when they were little because we had a big ol' fluffy cat that let them torment the hell out of her. I veered off track a little but my point is, to a small child, it's very common that everything is kitty.

This can just prove the fact that from her experiencing sulley at such a young age, she probably assumed it was a cat but since then she became more educated, and based on her blurry memory from childhood, she probably assumes sulley was a talking bear, helping prove her obsession of bears.

Hey I also wanted to point out the fact of at the end of incredibles there is a sentient villian mole of some sort in a giant drill. Trying to possible cause havoc in the human race timeline. He also says " I Here by declare war on peace and happiness " suggesting that he is the first sentient life form to do something about the humans. There has not been an incredibles 2 yet so this is my best bet. Honestly I am mind blown by this theory and more extra ideas makes this theory almost impossible to disagree with. Thanks

Frostyflytrap I think when humans left and machines took over (ie, Cars, Cars 2, etc) there were small lifeforms left on Earth such as rodents, bugs, and reptiles, but they lived in isolated parts of the planet. Notice how there are still plants and such on the planet during Cars; there's bound to be at least some sort of insects quietly hiding among the leaves. Then, between the events of Cars and Wall-E (when almost all plant life dies off), rodents and reptiles die off due to the lack of vegetation. However, certain bugs (like the cockroach) learn to adjust to life by eating whatever carrion or trash they can find. When the people of Axiom come back to Earth, it could be safe to assume that they have life from before (such as insects, mammals, birds etc) for scientific as well as food/medical purposes. Because insects like cockroaches haven't evolved very much for millions of years, it's safe to assume they haven't changed since Axiom, and its specimens, have left Earth. This would allow Earth and Axiom bugs to breed successfully and thus populate the planet more. Sorry if that was too detailed, I just kind of went off on that... ^-^"

fuj1nman1 Actually i think the Mythbuster has tried an experiment and has proven that "cockroaches can survive the highest of levels of radiation" is simply a popular myth. Other insects such as mosquitoes and fleas have a higher chance of surviving radiation due to their simple body structures. Still, a cockroach surviving in Wall-E doesnt necessarily mean other insects cannot survive, they might just be in somewhere else not shown in the film.

My theory is that A Bug's Life take place in Arizona or somewhere like that, a bit after Toy Story 2, and Heimlich was there because he was in a travelling circus. As for Flik, he was only in the outtakes, and if you count those, the whole theory falls apart.

At this point Pixar is taking this theory into account when creating movies. But at the start of the company they probably thought it would be fun to reuse some objects from other movies. One thing that you should take into account is how much work goes into creating something like the pizza delivery truck. In Pixar that truck is somebody's baby and they had build their career around it.

Also Dug is seen in Ratatouille when Remy is running through houses trying to find food (16:37 approx). This could be a more specific connection between talking animals in Up and Ratatouille. If Muntz was in Paris when the drama unfolded and Gusteaus was closed down he would have been one of the first to discover advanced animal intelligence and began developing the dog translators.This would mean the time between Ratatouille and Up could be much closer as Muntz wouldn't have merely chanced upon the discovery while travelling.

Pixar and Disney are two different companies. they do collaborate and make movies together, but they are not the same company. Yes Merida is the daughter of the chief of their village/ tribe and that makes her the heir, or "princess," that does not make her a "'Disney" princess.' Disney has a list of Disney princesses on their website and while people can make assumptions and try and fit pieces together, if Disney doesn't make them a part of that list, then they are not Disney princesses

The thing about connected time loops is that they require an initial time line to start from. In the theory the witch is responsible for the magic that transforms humans into animals leading to the rise in animal intelligence. However, Boo has yet to travel back as she hasn't been born yet. She won't discover the monsters and their world for a very long time. There would have had to be an event separate from her initially to cause the rise of the animals. She may upon her arrival in Brave's era do things that also lead to their rise and then in her timeline she is the catalyst but she would never have met Sully, gone through the door, become obsessed, discovered magic, traveled back in time and turned people into bears if something else hadn't put those events into motion initially. So while I do not discount the Pixar Theory, there is still a missing element as to what caused the rise of the animals 'prior' to Boo's entrance.

My theory: Boo is Andy's mum, and the monsters go back to the period before Toy Story. If boo has the "ball" and the Jesse doll in her room (both from Andy's house in toy story) does that give possibility that boo is Andy's mum? Pixar apparently CONFIRMED that boo is not the girl in ts3 so could she be his mother as the exact toys are handed down? Did boo outgrow Jesse, as described in TS2? I have a short theory! At the end of Monsters Inc., Boo picks up a certain toy that looks exactly like Nemo from Finding Nemo! Suggesting that the Nemo toy is a reference to Finding Nemo, we can concur that Boo could also, well be, Darla (I can't exactly remember her name) from Finding Nemo! Correct me if I'm wrong, I still do believe that Boo could be Emily and Andy's mom, and could also be the old witch from Brave! But this is just another theory that could or could not be true! Alright, this theory is great and all, and I especially think you did a great job explaining how Boo could still be the witch from Brave, but there is still one thing about that part I can't explain that maybe someone from a . . . different perspective . . . could. This is in regards to the original timeline. This entire story hinges from the fact that this witch created animals that acted like humans with magic, making it impossible for this witch to be from a future where the timeline already changed. If this makes any sense to you, good. If not, I'll try to explain in greater detail. The only reason Boo would be capable of time traveling back to the dark ages was because she had a motive to do so: Sully. If she did not try to learn magic, she wouldn't. However, Sully was only around because there was a human-animal breed, which would not have happened if the witch was not around in the dark ages. This means that this whole chain of events that made Boo who she is did not happen, Boo would not be capable to start this whole chain of events . . . Tell me if you have any questions on what I mean, but unless this minor detail is fixed, I don't see a way Boo could be the witch.

The thing with Boo and Kitty and Bears is that that's not how memory works. Boo is very young in Monster's Inc, sees sully, and says "Kitty." That means that at the time she thought he looked like a Kitty. Memory is not a clear recording, and is often reworked and reinterpreted as she gets older. So it's less likely she would remember him clearly and say "you know, he actually looked more like a bear." It's more likely she would remember that she thought he looked like a kitty, and morph her mental image of him to look more cat like as she got older and farther from the incident. See the phenomenon of "false memories" for more on this.
