The first thing that struck me when I saw this theory is it's the exact plot of Bendy and the Ink Machine; a game about a Disney parody creating animated beings to star in their productions and in their amusement parks. I know some of the chat said "for the love of Pete" appeared in Shrek as well, long before Up. And it does refer to St Peter in the usual context. But I think in relation to Up it _is_ intended to refer to Pete Docter given his role overseeing both the film and earlier entries in the Pixar library.

I really liked the first Rio, but the sequel (while I wouldn't call it terrible or even bad), not that much. Honestly, Rio 2 felt like it was originally a straight to video sequel, but then released into theaters, at the last minute.

It’s like the cartoons from the late 20s to 40s and 50s. There are segments where they interact with their human creators. Like Walter with Mickey and Max with Betty Boop and Walter with Woody Woodpecker. Another thing that comes to mind is the Movie Who Framed Rodger Rabbit.

13:15 that isn't abnormal. Fairy flies in particular are insanely small, 0.13 to 5.4 mm. Stickbugs are 2-33cm long. Orders of magnitude larger. An eyed ladybug for comparison ~15mm means that stickbug is ~45mm and could easily swallow a flying 1-2mm fairyfly; it would be like a junebug flying in your mouth
