Dude, this is the first review I've seen that mention so many software features, I never even heard of Extra Dim. That's awesome! GREATLY appreciate how you actually spend time talking about using the phone day to day instead of spending 3/4s of the video talking about nitty gritty camera details like everyone else. Regarding disappearing of fingerprint while tapping at the notification, please note you need to tap only once and it will take you to the fingerprint. If you tap twice it will take you to the pin or pattern. Not sure why it is like this but that's how it is.

Simple tips for portraits shot, always use 4x for more realistic effect. That is one of the reason to get 6 pro over 6. Try this and you'll love it. For me, portrait mode on pixel is kinda buggy or u can shoot on main camera and apply the bokeh effect later, so not a big deal👍🏾 cheers mate.

Great review. The P6 Pro isn't perfect, but it's pretty great. I have a 'work phone' which is a 13 Pro Max. The battery in that device sets the standard, but apart from that, I would take my personal P6 Pro over the iPhone any day of the week and twice on Sunday. The OS is smooth, the cameras are pretty damn good.....and will likely improve over time with software updates. The Pixel is definitely worth picking up.

For the Notification thing hiding the fingerprint sign in, it's because you double tapped the notification. This is likely a muscle memory thing from previous devices. Simply tap the notification once and then use the fingerprint to open your phone and the app.

4:27 now u only have to tap the notification once and it prompts finger unlock... If u tap the notification twice it prompts the passcode.... Pretty cool feature i think

I know a lot of people have criticized the Pixel 6 series. Having had mine since 26th October, the pros outweigh the cons. However, I have discovered the cameras Achilles' heel - nightscape mode with flashing LED lights during a visit to a winter light trail event. What I can only describe are black bands that appeared during the live preview and actual images and videos. It reminded me of taking slow motion videos in poor light. My missus took pictures and videos on her Note 9 and had none of these problems. I had my GoPro 8 with me and that had no problems either.

Would love it if you could include a test on your android reviews of what the notification delays are like. Most android phones unfortunately suffer from it since Android 10, especially when on WiFi and the phone has entered deep sleep. Put the phone down for 10 minutes while on wifi and then send an email to yourself from another device and see how long it takes gmail to pop up a notification, for instance. Haven't found any reviewers doing this even though it's such an issue on so many phone models.

Watching this 6 days after the video was posted, and 6 days after I bought my Pixel 6 lol I'm loving it so far. Upgrading from an LG G6, none of the Pro features are things I'm missing anyway. The phone is just so much snappier, better looking, more colorful, and the camera just takes gorgeous pictures I'm planning on slapping a case on it to get rid of the slipperiness, which is really my biggest complaint other than a few Android 12 quirks - Other than that, it's a joy to use 😁

4:38 don't double click the notification and you can still use the fingerprint scanner without it disappearing. Just click the notification once and you'll be gtg.

8:32 Flashing Pixel Experience Rom with Android 12 on my $130 phone brought me awesome results... And those differences from Android 11 to 12 are seriously big... Especially, app opening, installing and the massive upgrade, the boot time... Google has definately done a great job with Android 12 in terms of optimising their software further. It brought down system CPU and RAM usage too... So a big plus in terms of performance... 6:37 Agree with you on that... Some of the Android 12 features look a little bigger and as you said, "in your face"... Not a big fan... But Material You compensates for that, atleast for the most part... P.S. I bought an iPhone after you're last Videos about switching to it. Somehow it feel nice to use but so much little functions are missing from my S20 5G. Back Gesture, Alarm Volume, Strong Vibration, No Mute/Vibrate/Loud switch, notifications, build in Document Scanner in Camera App, Turn phone to stop alarm and calls. The list ist long. I will give it a few weeks after that I will sell it and get a Pixel 6. How was your experience with iOS so far ?

IMO Material You is amazing. I love changing my wallpaper and tweaking the UI. As far as fingerprint reader I have encountered 0 issues and made many side by side comparisons with my S21 Ultra and there was either no difference or imperceptible. The haptics are amazing. Haptics are the first thing I turn off yet on the Pixel I love them. My biggest gripes are the At A Glance which is redundant and uses way to much space. I'm a minimalist and keep no app icons on my homescreen. Only the ones in the bar and a clock app so the At A Glance really bugs me

The bugs with the Pixel 6 has been due to the tensor chip not Android 12. I've had no issues whatsoever on Android 12 with my pixel 4a

Have the Pixel 6 and absolutely love it. Not perfect but no phone is, but this phone is really fun too use. Great design, flat screen, great camera, great operating system and so on. Only downsides are I wish it was slightly smaller, fully matte finish and a better screen unlock. Highly recommend this phone.

my biggest complaint with the pixel is that it doesn't have a good ecosystem such as Apple and Samsung. Currently, i'm on Samsung ecosystem and being in an ecosystem is really comfortable. I can just move files between my Samsung laptop and Tablet with just the quick share, i can copy anything on my phone or tablets and copy it on my laptop, i can see my phone notifications on my laptop, answer my phone calls on my laptop, listens to music using Galaxy Buds without changing the bluetooth connected to from one device to another, etc.

Hey man, let me start saying that I do really like your channel and most of your videos. While I've never used the Pixel 6pro nor the iPhone 13pro, this video felt too much like you comparing the Pixel to the iPhone, instead of being a "review" of the PIxel after XX amount of time, and while I understand you feel like comparing the two, you should also mention that, the iPhone 13 pro costs $XXX more than the Pixel, because that puts things to perspective. I feel it would have been better or "fair" to compare the Pixel to other Galaxy or OnePlus phones that do cost about the same ($100+ or -$100 than the Pixel) to put things into perspective. I have the pixel 6 after coming from the galaxy Note 8. My biggest gripe is that the 6 is significantly heavier and thicker than the Note 8 (which also contained a stylus!). It's tiring to hold and easier to drop because of the massive weight, only a slightly larger display than an old note. Also the stripped down version of Android is so bare bones I have no idea how they get away with calling this flagship.

I love my Pixel 6 pro, favorite phone to date. My battery life is awesome, I'm getting 7-8 hours screen on time with very heavy use. The cameras are, as always, awesome. The video is soooo much better than years past, even in social media cases it's still really good. It's fast, smooth, and I don't have many complaints. I'm not a big fan of Android 12, but it's still alright.
