Flinders Petrie, known as the Father of Archaeology, is credited with developing the methodology of pottery dating: identifying pottery in distinct layers and dating them to their historical periods. He first applied this practice at Tell el Hesy using the Bible as his historical reference. Unfortunately, today, the field of archeology has reversed, and now, using the Bible as a reference is seen as a discrediting bias.

Just a few years ago, I had no idea anything in the Bible was confirmed by archaeology. The mainstream media always stamps it out or “debunks” it. This is wonderful! Thank you! 🙏🏼✝️

Same. Though I've gone my whole life without physical evidence for the Bible, I find it a beautiful testament to God's word to actually see it. In the same token, it upsets me that all of this evidence exists; yet, I'm only now learning about it. I kind of wish I would have gone into archeology now instead of my chosen field.

Hi Denise ~ I have a background in Archaeology, which I pursued as a second degree option after my first degree in Psychology. I also returned as an older student, and noticed a number of people in the back of our classes auditing our Archaeology courses. What I thought was extremely encouraging as an older student was sharing a class with 60 to 80s year olds! The back row of my class consisted of a group of tremendous, diligent “classmates”, who I became friends with. A younger group of us would meet with them at a local café to study throughout the week. They kept us on our toes! Truly, it is one my my fondest memories throughout my university years! They were such a JOY to have in our program! I quickly wanted to mention - there are various courses and programs offered ONLINE. Another “cheap” option - if finances are an issue - is to participate in an AUDIT. Hereby, you can attend classes at a very low fee. It occurs at universities and colleges frequently, and there are many “mature” students/participants. You cannot acquire an undergraduate degree, but those who choose to audit classes are usually interested for the purpose of learning in most cases. I live in CANADA, so course fees are tremendously cheaper this side of the border. But, as I mentioned, online and audit options are cheaper and provide a freedom and flexibility a degree program cannot offer. If pursuing Archaeology via a secondary institution isn’t something you are interested in…this KZbin channel is GREAT! It also provides a BIBLICAL perspective for FREE…Two options I didn’t have when I attended university! It’s truly an incredible resource to be offered by Professor Kramer. His extensive and exhaustive approach of Biblical Archaeology happens to be the best channel I have found on KZbin. We are truly blessed to have such an accomplished scholar offer this gift to our online community! I follow other Biblical Archaeologists and their KZbin channels/TV programs. I can share them with you - if you are interested. Although, I suspect, it is likely you may already follow them. Many Blessings🇨🇦☺🇺🇸 P.S. I wanted to provide options, even if your interests are not secondary in nature, but enjoying Biblical Archaeology and this channel for the purpose of ENJOYMENT, while learning something exciting and new! I hope this didn’t offend you? I merely wanted to share options with you!🙂

@@deniseroe5891 Hi Denise ~ I’m so thrilled to hear that I didn’t offend you! I knew you had a bright mind and passion for learning! I know most Americans think it’s all frozen here - but - I promise you, where I grew up on Vancouver Island, British Columbia - the weather is like Texas! Shocking I know, but unfortunately we had a town burn down a couple of years ago, because it got to +50 degrees (122 Fahrenheit). There are vast fire fires that have burned down communities, and forced others to relocate! We even have our Arctic melting - which means the poor Polar Bears are starving…So I would gladly take a wee bit colder weather! It’s very warm here - especially at the moment. I can’t remember the last time I saw it snow. Not that I have done this in decades - but - I would happily enjoy a “snowball fight” with you! I promise, it’s FUN!😉 I’ve been following the weather in Texas. I have family throughout the US, but a few in Texas that I’m closest to. I also have dear friends who own farms in Texas, so I know you guys have had challenging times in recent history! All kidding aside…I hope YOU and your Love Ones are safe and recovering well! As for the exciting notion that you are considering “auditing”…That’s BRILLIANT! You have a few Biblical scholars in Texas, which I follow regularly! I’m sure you are more than aware of Professor Scott Strippling and his team. I also follow a couple of Canadians that are Biblical scholars in Texas…We have more in common than meets the eye! I wish you so much JOY in your personal scholarly suits, and have immense respect for those like yourself, who wish to continue to expand their knowledge! I think it helps ground us even further in our FAITH! Hopefully, I will see you in our online community, and you can update me on how you’re doing?🙂 I consider you my southern cousin, and will be praying for you and your family Denise! I am so proud to have you part of our divine family! Many best wishes!🥰 Bless you…stay safe…keep warm🇨🇦✝🇺🇸 P.S. Sorry to burst your bubble but the facts are there for everyone to see. Referring to the hills of Canaan Dr William Dever: "We know today, from archeological investigation, that there were more than 300 early villages of the 13th and 12th century in the area. I call these "proto-Israelite villages". *This has been verified by archeologists* i.e. Mazur, Na'aman, Finkelstein, Faust and Dever Dr William Dever, an archaeologist normally associated with the more conservative end of Syro-Palestinian archaeology, has labeled the question of the historicity of Exodus “dead”. Israeli archaeologist Ze’ev Herzog provides his view on the historicity of the Exodus:[7] *The Israelites never were in Egypt. They never came from abroad. This whole chain is broken. It is not a historical one. It is a later legendary reconstruction - made in the seventh century [BCE] - of a history that never happened* Verifying Dr Dever is the Merneptah Stele Merneptah stele 1207BCE The Egyptian army rolls through Canaan and the only Israelites they encounter are some people in the highlands that they scatter. No Israelite city states or cities. No great Israelite army to stop them. Just a people the Egyptians called Israel.

We have the Petrie museum in London. I specialise in the British Museum. The Lachish Reliefs are there… and you probably know that it is thought that they were prepared in advance to represent Jerusalem being destroyed, but of course it didn’t happen at that time. So a little ancient patch of cuneiform text was added to the Reliefs saying that it was the conquering of Lachish! See book by Lester Grabbe. Jerusalem was conquered of course about 100 years later when it was Jehovah’s time for it to happen, as the beginning of the “appointed times of the nations“ and the end of the Jewish Age. Your videos are excellent.

First of all I love your show. Probably my favorite subscription on KZbin. You should do one on the Citadel UnEarth in Jerusalem in 2015. Antiochus IV Epiphanies's Citadel or Acra. According to Josephus Flavius's book Antiquities of the Jews, it was built ajoined and overlooking the Jewish temple. Does that mean that the Jewish temple was actually on the East Hill instead of the Temple mount?

Wow, the more I think about it, God has caused His people to build in such a way that His Word will be testified to be true through physical proof later by archeologists! God is amazing!

I still can't wrap my head around how is it there are still souls out there that are still not believing in the Bible. Its not just that its a book, but a book with archeological proof of God's work in ancient times.

Your a profit for God. May God bless you. I hope you save as many people possible. You are so clear and “saying what is so” of the actual evidence left in physical evidence on Earth and laying side by side to what God said he did or would do. You are spot on.

I love this channel. This video was good. I do think, however, this could have been presented in 10 minutes instead of 15.

Thank you for this. Yet another example of how the biblical worldview and Christianity in particular has built the world in which we now live no matter who wants to concede that fact.
