That gun was so powerful, that it for 4 seconds would literally make the airplane's airframe crack. The recoil was also so immense, that it would just slow the plane down and make it stall. The idea was so stupid, that the Soviets had to limit the gun, to make it not destroy the plane and make it somewhat flyable.

@@theallmightyego6756 stormer no proxy :( it's near impossible to hit planes, especially on high ping. Test driving (which hosts the server on your pc) makes it's not too hard to hit planes, but in-game especially with my Australian ping, the missiles will often just phase through planes. Sad thing is, it used to be somewhat good, but it's been nerfed a lot. It also has been proven to be quite effective in the current Ukraine war. There's footage of it severing the tail section of a Russian heli.

Depends on the BR you are at, for low tier, get the Su-6 (AM-42) as it can do pretty much everything quite comfortably, worth getting a talisman for. Mid tier? I would recommend the La-200, once you learn to boom and zoom effectively, it is almost impossible to catch, and it’s guns hit very hard. Plus the radar makes it quite easy to pick up bombers through clouds and such; again, worth getting a talisman for. Just watch the low velocity guns… High tier? I would recommend grinding the MiG-27 and absolutely get a talisman for it, it is surprisingly capable in dogfights, and has a very large variety of weapons. Like the Su-6, it can pretty much do everything comfortably. If you don’t have that line though, the MiG-23MLD is definitely worthwhile getting a talisman for to, very nice missiles and great manoeuvrability.

Talisman the Yak 1B, Yak 3, Yak 3U, I-225, La-15, La-200, MiG 15BIS, MiG 19PT, MiG 21SMT, MiG 29. All the worth while talismans I can think of off my head. Maybe the MiG 23M but the match maker for 11.0 planes isn't great for Russia.
