One of the things that really blows me away is the fact that there are so many more bootleg PvZ plushes than official. So much so, that the bootlegs pretty much *are* official. Several Popcap employees own them, with some of them even being in PopCap's main offices. Even Laura Shigihara has a Lixin Sunflower proudly displayed in many of her videos. The biggest bootleg company, Lixin, was even offered a license by PopCap. They declined it, however, and in response PopCap sent police to raid their factories and destroy all of the unreleased products.

The best part about the whole ‘PvZ 2 leak’ thing is that a majority of it actually (in one way or another) became real. The (i’m not shitting you) ‘Arson Zombie’, who uses fire that produces huge damage output, is extremely similar to PvZ2’s Firebreather Zombie The Grass Skirt Zombie’s ability is (once again), extremely similar to the the chinese version of PvZ2’s Bandit Zombie Witch Zombie (who stuns/disables plants for five seconds) has *some* similarities to PvZ2’s (China) Perfume Zombie and Archmage Zombie ‘Nail Nuts’ ability (a tall nut that attacks with spikes/nails whilst being eaten) is very similar to both Endurian (PvZ2) and Vine Nut (PvZ Social Edition)

Funny enough, there's an outfit for the zombatars in pvz 1 that resembles the duckweed/grass skirt/hula zombie, or a part of it anyway, as there's an option for the zomatar to wear a grass necklace around it's neck, but it's mostly obvious that it really came from those fake leaks
